Actually, that tip session by Painuser was useful. I like what they're doing there.

Wow people the Terran Koreans are NOT "outclassing" the NA/Europeans. This is a new Terran build/realization that has caught fire on the Korean server. This is completely different than being "outclassed" as a player.

I'm sorry, but I respect the Koreans as players, but this copy+paste surprise build that smashes every player at MLG is damn boring.

P.S. And no, this is not just a special Slayers build as JP was asking about in the interview - MVP used the build twice in a row against select to achieve instant wins and he's in IM.

Its not a "copy paste" surprise build. Korea is always going to be leading the metagame in match ups and these kind of results are just examples of why being in Korea is extremely important for each and every player than wants to remain competitive.

your an idiot, most of these pro gamers play on the Korean ladder and understand the builds.. they are being outclassed, nothing more. Koreans practice harder live in team houses have coaches and dedicate their life to this.. foreigners with the exception of Huk and several others are not on the same level as the Koreans.

Ummm... European/NA players have access to KR server and thus should know of the build, take Select for example, he went for mass hellion viking tank but was just outclassed by MVP. And I am pretty sure drewbie took a game off MMA by going mass marines/tank....

When MVP saw select's double gas and went fast raven, which select did like 0 damage with, it was all downhill from there for him. Then MVP multitasked like a boss landing vikings to take damage, spiltting helions, putting down auto turrets AND sending a late-made banshee to main mineral line which took out 10 SCVS. I see this as outclassing (Although I know select fking good too)

And no, MVP's build and the slayer's build against Z are not the same

You talk about 2 different types of builds in your little rant here.

Theres the TvZ ones, which MMA and Boxer used extremely well to win their games. With those builds MMA said in his interview they were not identical. They were based on the player they were playing against and their own play style to take advantage of their strengths and their opponents weaknesses.

The other type was the TvT one that MVP used was different. He didn't elevator marines and BF hellions into the main, but harassed with banshees or defended with ravens while his hellions poked and prodded as well as they could. I would say Select got completely outclassed both games.

This ^^

Select is a great player but he got outmatched, and that had nothing to do with MVP new secret build, his multitasking could not handle that of MVP.

Does anyone know what music they play between matches? I really like some of it, I looked it up and didn't find anything.

I agree that the builds are not exactly the same and I should revise my post as stating that the game-changing element of all of these builds has been the use of mass blue-flame hellion. I've never seen blue flame hellion used in mass to win games so easily. Even the casters are surprised and are "expecting to see the same build over and over again". I'd like to see some longer games from these players, but alas like someone else posted - the fastest way to the win is the ticket.

And to someone else who described my post as rant . . . yes it was

iono about that, every game, Terran had +1 base making at the end... Even the attack failed I don't see how Zerg can counter attack with 2 units... It's a very strong build, obviously roach or baneling would stop it if one multitasks well. I am sure after the attack a longer game was planned but we can't see if the players just die to a pressure.

There's an entire thread dedicated to the open bracket, it's one of the top 3 threads in the tournament section. Red Stream, Blue Stream, and Open bracket are the top 3. So you'll find it.
