LOL at the people who think a zvz final is awesome. You guys have terrible taste. ZvZ was the worst matchup in broodwar and it might be the worst matchup in SC2.

No YOU have terrible taste cause you don't like it.
Or you just aren't a Zerg.
one or the other.

Most definitely he's not a Zerg. Only a Zerg would be excited about ZvZ, because its by far the most confusing mirror matchup. Everyone can understand positioning of tank lines, and getting air dominance in a TvT, and PvP at least results in occasionally good to watch micro, but ZvZ with its concept of droning, teching and making units to counter your opponent (from what I understand, often blindly) is impossible to understand unless you play Zerg.

That's not far from the truth haha. It takes quite a bit of experience in ZvZ to understand all the different timings and how builds set you up for better or worse against what your opponent is doing. I love watching high level ZvZ because I do get it, but I can understand how it can just look like a flurry of mass drones or units butting heads without understanding what's going on behind it all or what lead up to it.
i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.

If anything, it's P and T that have been imba whining the last 2 months in LR threads about fungal.

Because he's funny whining and quitting all the time while top Zergs roll on. Mostly without fungal.

Haha, are you seriously blaming the GSL for the quiality of the games. That's completely out of their hands. There's nothing wrong with the format.

No it's not. You give a week to prepare you get blowouts. It's no accident GSTL is so much better.

Not to mention BO1's at beginning at beginning get rid of late starters and adaptive players.

GSL is a terrible format.

Wow your logic is so retarded. People want to see the highest level of games possible. One way is to give ample time for players to prepare builds. Its not GOM's fault that one player cant outplay another when they have the same time to prepare. What would you suggest then? GSL every single day, and a season finishes in 2 weeks?

Pretty much. MLG does it in 3 days with a double elimination. GSL milks it for a month with single elim.

TSL took place over a longer timespan than GSL did. And we got treated to a really good finals.

Not really, people are saying Nestea will 4-0 because not only is Nestea better, but he is essentially Losira's mentor, he knows exactly what Losira is capable of. The reason Losira is even as close to Nestea's level in zvz is because they practice together.

That being said its not impossible that Losira could take a couple games off Nestea. However if Nestea lost the finals i would be very suspicious of the circumstances.

NesTea lost to Dimaga

He also almost lost to Sen

Many close games have happened in his ZvZs

To say he is unbeatable would be stupid, especially against the second best ZvZer

hongun freaking beat MC with a 0% win vs a 80~% win rate, SC2 is unpredictable.

Somehow I didn't see this comment when players like IMMVP/MKP/oGsMC were beating zergs. That was pure whine, even if the superior players won. And I wouldn't say Losira is so better than Byun. Doubles standards all the way.

GSL 2 wasn't that bad either. Exceptions don't make the rule. SC2 is a game that does not allow combacks so much like BW. As such player who strategist best usually blows out the other. Time allows that.

I rarely whine about balance but final with 2 zergs who both won 3-0 in semi... I think Losira and Nestea are better player than Byun or Hongun but still 3-0. I really think we need nerf for zerg

i think people are really underestimating the potential of a zvz finals

its two teammates first of all, and its two of the best zergs in the world

i would be incredibly surprised if this was a standard zvz finals

Because blizzard was still patching the game when they won, and every patch included zerg buffs and map changes to help zerg out.

Now that the game is more stabilized (last balance patch was months ago), people wouldn't use that "double standard"

Also, Byun pretty much did outplay Losira in the mid-late game, but the early game is the most important part of the game, and it's where he failed.

People are angry most zerg users are giant hypocrites.

Zerg wins: "better player won, loser just played bad or didn't abuse"
Terran wins: "imba tanks, bunkers, marines"
Protoss wins: "lol forcefield imba, blink imba"

Even Idra whines along those lines most of the time.

Last three finals all been the different mirrors. Now you can't complain any race didn't get their finals to shine.

Fine, they're all imbalanced!
