Notice how in between matches he would be stretching out his wrists, he must have practiced A LOT for this PvP which put a lot of strain on the guy.
I knew it and that was the reason MC had more chanse to win =/

I m trying to open your eyes fella. But seriously don't care what I say, when the vods are up go and see for yourself and then pm me with your explanation of what happened. I don't think it is matchfixing, that's a HUGE accusation, but could someone explain what the fuck that was? I wanna know what the explanation is.

To me it seems like a pretty good thing to bring back from SC1 (for HOTS obv) given the current pvp style is still mostly 4gate I dont think so. Even in SCBW PvP, which was designed with the SB in mind, Pros almost never built it. I cant remember the last game I saw a SB in PvP. Usually it was all about Goons and Reavers. Wrong. Against a 4-Gate Goon All-in people get it, mostly against a proxy they get it, and sometimes even against a 3 Gate. I guess my question is, assuming it was post cyber core tech, would it give enough of an advantage to the defender eg. Would you rather have say 7 stalkers 1 SB than 8 stalkers? Think of it as a bunker equivalent maybe Could it introduce any other imbalances (for example in other proxy rushes, as you'd already have the pylon there)
I'd actually make it a gateway required building, but then increase the build time by a lot. Enough that it wouldn't be worth it to proxy it. This is a really good idea though. I wonder what Blizzard would say about it. Maybe someone can ask them at Blizzcon.

Consider this, each time he practices, he's in serious pain; each time he plays, he's in serious pain. It requires some serious dedication to continue at the pace he's going and I honestly hope that Tastosis find this out and actually mention this to the viewers so they would realize just how much more effort it is for him to be a progamer. People can talk about how MC has his dreams of being at the top too, but this just means so much more for HongUn than MC and anyone really right now in Code S.
Just remember that each time you see good micro from the guy, it's actually causing him pain to move the mouse as much as he does.
Now that is really following through with your dreams and goals more than anyone else. A movie-like story IMO.

Yay HongUnPrime, my Toss Hero from the Open Season finally making a comeback. Hope he can pull a reverse on Nestea and be the surprise of this season. Maybe it's the book charm? Who knows, everyone be bringing books to the selection ceremony from now on? =))

Welp looks like nestea's third title, time to party, zergs!
|
Oh yeah, HongUn! Missed the games but will definitely be watching the VODs.
Two Ro8 and two Ro4, plus making the first GSL carriers like a boss. How can you not like this guy? And for those who say he doesn't have any memorable games, please take a look at the great wall of HongUn play here, one of the greatest plays of last year.
And yeah, everyone who thought HongUn would be 3-0'd by MC now thinks he'll be 3-0'd by Nestea. Just fantastic. =D

hongun was one of the best protoss in the world along with tester, before MC even appeared in sc2.
just because he hasn't won stuff doesn't necessarily mean he's not a top player.
in pretty much every GSL, hongun has done well and has been knocked out by one of the favourites in very close matches.

Your doing HongUn so short with this comment, it's alright your a MC fan but HongUn did play very well, and you can not blame him for 4gating MC, it's a solid build as this for like ever not even to mention MC uses it 90% aswell.
For a man with wrist problems you can only have respect for breaking MC and making use of MC's mistakes, it was well deserved and HongUn should deserve respect instead of pity.

Well this sucks... not necessarily because MC out might lead to a worse rest of the tournament, but because if Hongun manages to take it a step further and knock out Nestea... the whole world will try to call it a fluke, say that he only won because he plays protoss, or say that nestea was playing poorly.
There is literally no hope for hongun in the next round whether or not he wins or loses.

LOL mc getting knocked out by hongun who i beleive has never won a pvp match before? (he may have won some sets but not the entire match) that is pretty emberassing but i think with all mc's travelling he has fallen behind a bit. Doesnt help that hes going to be expected to go to most korean events under the SK label now.
Hongun played great though he must have practiced pvp like a boss before this match.

No, there's plenty of us who've been watching since the first open season and have rooted for HongUn all the way.

picked hongun on liquibet, awwww yea

1. way too much travelling MC, back to practice man
2. the retardedness of LR continues, to explain to some why they're retarded even if they got a point in the little obtuse niche they're thinking in is months beyond even aguably worth it. time to chillax.
3. go Nestea for the Third baby
4. but sigh why does the MC-Nestea clash of the centuries always elude us
5. hats off HongUn for the ffort, such a shame with the wrists, but not a bad way to go out beating MC then facing Nestea, gl

Its fixed. this is totally wrong, there is no reason for them to post partial results if it is already predetermined at all, it was clearly a mistake. Even if we did see byun go up 2-0 and losira go up 2-0 it would mean nothing because if the scores were pre determined there would be no reason for them to post partial results, thats just silly.
Clearly an honest mistake get over it.
Its really offensive to even hear somebody say that after you see how emotionally distraught some of the players in the GSL are after losing, if it was predetermined it wouldnt be a surprise and you definitely can not fake some of their reactions. For instance the look on MMA's face when he lost in the finals 0-4
Also if it was predetermined (which it isnt) it would be really silly of them to make pretty much every finals so one sided in scores, im appauled that an idea like this even popped into someones head , next time think before you post.

Games are not fixed.
Your grammar needs to be.

GOM's overlays have been prone to errors, such as spelling errors. Occasionally they'll have errors in the scores at the end. It's not very common, but comes up enough for it to be understandable. The previous poster WAYYYYYY overreacting.
