Both blizz and players are clueless how to fix the matchup simply because of the warpgate,and 99%of the time u can't be sure from a first see on the base whether hes 4gating or doing tech,,
I feel like 99,9% of the time when i do a tech on the ladder,i get 4gated badly

I wonder if people realize that HongUn has made the semifinals twice and Ro8 twice in the GSL now, making him the second most successful Protoss in the GSL. Guy really doesn't get enough credit.

If 4gating is the superior strat then HongUn is smarter than MC.

He is truly one of the more underrated players. He even made carriers in the open season! Total baller. I believe he had one of the best overall average finishes during the open seasons

It's impossible to be unbeatable in PvP like you can be in any other matchup. Even ZvZ is nothing like as random and build order dependent as PvP. Just look at the trio of Naniwa, Huk, MC at MLG, Homestory and GSL.
Huk beats MC at MLG
MC beats Huk at GSL
Naniwa beats MC at Homestory
MC beats Naniwa at MLG
Huk beats Naniwa at Homestory
Naniwa beats Huk at Homestory.
That's just PvP, it's random. Skill does come into it, over many, many PvP's but in a small sample size it's a hell of a lot to do with luck.
It's a bit like Poker only nowhere near as extreme. One days play of Poker is 90% luck, but over the course of thousands of hands skill will determine your success. In PvP you can easilly lose one of games and series but over the course of months of games the best PvP'ers (Inca/MC) will win more than others.

The pylon interference fix someone mentioned is actually pretty good but needs testing and it is too much abusable. .. .

Other then making the first carrier in the GSL, he hasn't had any memorable games and/or series before today. Which is why people overlook him.
