Stay positive, be happy and enjoy the event. Caster bashing and player bashing? Too much whining? Uh-oh!

Im not being offensive but broodwar dominance from koreans showed them as gods on (WCG) for instance...foreigners were just going to a vacation trip :D
What do you guys think?

Pretty sure Nada is coming from a vacation(or at least very recently) so he's probably not in his best shape.

Would be ironic if Huk lost because of those TL pylons.

Doing them when the game is still undecided feels pretty arrogant tbh.

I almost hope he loses, really strange behaviour from a supposed professional.

Being a true competitor must always be enforce in every sport and must prevail over business sense. Throwing games is the worst imaginable thing. Saviour et all did it for the money to. That was on betting lines and this one is to have better chances to advance and go to the money spots (Welmu and Sen is a huge difference. Sorry, no offense to Welmu, but that is a fact)

Could you imagine the outcry in your country during Football WC, if your country threw a game to getting a better opponent in the Ro8? The players would be crucified in Germany. Lol.

Germany has fucking done it in pool football play before. What are you talking about? Someone else already mentioned the example in this thread.

This happens in every major sport, and it's happened in BW and CS as well. What do you think football teams are doing when they rest their star players in a local league match, so they'll be ready for an upcoming CL match?

And enough about the "spirit of competition" when we're watching an Invitational tournament.

EDIT: There's no collusion going on here, it's hardly comparable to something like sAviOr's match fixing. It's two players trying to better their chances later on in the tournament.

And what was the public reaction to Germany's stunt 1978? The match is called "The Disgrace of Cordoba" for a reason, the German team WERE crucified.

No it's not the same thing as fielding a b-squad to avoid injuries, that would be similar to hiding build orders, Actively throwing games is entirely different.

Sure it's within the rules so the admins can't do much about it. What they can do however is to show that this behaviour is unacceptable by not inviting them for future events. That's the best thing they could do in this situation imo, and would defenitely have happened to Germany had the WC and Euro Cup been invitationals.

Disgrace of Cordaba was simply Germany losing to Austria which was a disgrace in itself from Germanys POV. The match you are probably thinking about was in 1982, and wasn't similar to the bratok/stephano situation /randomtrivia

So many surprising results so far at assembly :o
Beautiful Storms! - Nice Forcefields! - HUGE Fungals!
