Stay positive, be happy and enjoy the event. Caster bashing and player bashing? Too much whining? Uh-oh! |

Could you imagine the outcry in your country during Football WC, if your country threw a game to getting a better opponent in the Ro8? The players would be crucified in Germany. Lol. Germany has fucking done it in pool football play before. What are you talking about? Someone else already mentioned the example in this thread. This happens in every major sport, and it's happened in BW and CS as well. What do you think football teams are doing when they rest their star players in a local league match, so they'll be ready for an upcoming CL match? And enough about the "spirit of competition" when we're watching an Invitational tournament. EDIT: There's no collusion going on here, it's hardly comparable to something like sAviOr's match fixing. It's two players trying to better their chances later on in the tournament.
And what was the public reaction to Germany's stunt 1978? The match is called "The Disgrace of Cordoba" for a reason, the German team WERE crucified.
No it's not the same thing as fielding a b-squad to avoid injuries, that would be similar to hiding build orders, Actively throwing games is entirely different.
Sure it's within the rules so the admins can't do much about it. What they can do however is to show that this behaviour is unacceptable by not inviting them for future events. That's the best thing they could do in this situation imo, and would defenitely have happened to Germany had the WC and Euro Cup been invitationals.

Poor DF, economically he dominated, but no chance against P-Ball. I think its the reinforcements mechanic. Protoss on 4 / 5 base and seemingly endless gateway count reinforces faster than any other race. Even Zergs who can pop 70 roaches at once can't bring their reinforcements out that fast because they still need time to build and to group together. If you have a pylon anywhere and 20 gateways you can immediately warp in 20 stalkers at once. I don't want to say it is imbalanced, but its certainly is very powerful. + Show Spoiler +That is why you have not to think in the one big battle scenario mind to have all your supply gathered mr naruto having back at ur base 2 full energy ghosts and 6 full energy medivacs is a nearly 100 % safe after bigger trades where you dont need the maxed ammount of healing, cause fact is in a big battle may go of storms and several feedbacks wich make mass medivacs less usefull , also in such a situations help you preventive bunkers before trading , if terrans adapt more carefuly it gets about once u get ahead out of a fight to take on expansions wich are mostly pf protected wich means takeing out is not often possible but harassing with stalkers seems still reasonable . so your defensive ways are realy helping you not to die you just dont think about it as of yet . if protoss loses a base the income you lose in that time might cost you the game depending on the lategame situation warp in is defenitly something what helps toss to stay alive im not saying its hard to control 1 point with it but if you view the bigger picture its needed given how protoss is designed and can get to more interesting scenarios. You might have a point, but so does NarutO. _Coming from a Protoss player; The lategame warpin is quite powerful if you are in their base. Defensive I think it doesn't matter because they can group up. But please, for the love of god, use the enter key ;> Such walls of texts hurt eyes.
