Stay positive, be happy and enjoy the event. Caster bashing and player bashing? Too much whining? Uh-oh! |

It's just all about these shitty rules. I don't understand either. Why would you blame players? It's the system that makes them wish to lose. And what would be formal reason for DQ anyways? BC rush? 6 pool? How that could be reason for DQ? And there is easy solution: just randomize opponents as they did at Dreamhack. BTW it was really funny and entertaining games

Nestea can probably beat MarineKing, IMMvp and OgsMc, but he'd be an idiot if he picked them in his group play over other lower tier players. You see why stephano and brat_ok don't want to chose sen?
So you're saying MC is an idiot for picking MVP over "lesser players" in his group, and picking a group right next to NesTea's. Okay.
NesTea may have preferences over when he wants to face which opponents (which in GSL actually makes sense because of prize distribution, but not so much in Assembly where you need to make top 4 to win any money at all), but can you see him shitting his pants to the point where he will throw group games to avoid them? I don't think so.

I hope they both lose 1st round now, it's legal but it's lame, where is the glory on that?

You shouldnt compare this to Germany's Gijon game 1982 or the Denmark Sweden game, because those were actually hurting a 3rd team. Its rather comparable to this one: Barbados vs Grenada where the FIFA introduced some absurd rule which lead to one team having to shoot an own goal to maintain a chance to get out of their qualification group. People shouldnt be so uptight about those bratok vs stephano games, those will just be hilarious curiosities like that football match..

wish i could have watched that

Seriously, you're still discussing this an hour later? They didn't even throw the games but provided an interesting series to watch. This hypocritical talk about this "hurting esports" is needless, when this is usual business in other sports and noone will care after tonight is over.
Looking forward to the last two groups.

The fact that the top 4 get money in assembly is exactly why they'd have done it, because they want to get as far into the tournament as possible before meeting the likes of Sen. BratOK knows he can beat SarenS tvt, so it's the best possible chance for him to get towards the money, it was a smart decision.
Unless he gets DQ'd.

I think the only person who has the chance to beat huk is morrow with his new mass ling style he's been perfecting against protoss lately.
Dimaga is good but let's be honest his group wasn't exactly that hard.

I'm still not convinced Huk has the best PvZ, so I think Dimaga, Stephano and Morrow all have a fair shot at beating Huk.

Stephano or SEn both can beat Huk. I don't know about MorroW or DIMAGA. Huk is really good.

Yeah, it shows that he is a radio commentator, though i think he will get more used to it the more we demand tournaments to hire him :p

I just watched the series... my goodness you people are blowing this out of proportion.
It's not like either player decided to forfeit. They still played and tried to win with very very unconventional (stupid) strategies. It was fun and entertaining and definitely a good show.
I don't see the problem lol
