MVP's lost a lot of his shine, but I still think at his best he's the current Terran President.

And i'm sure any pro would prefer margin for error (i.e a league format where 1-2 losses and you can easily still qualify) over such a brutal and unforgiving open tournament, even if it takes a few more hours of your life. Oh, and you get a week to prepare in the league whilst most of the open tournament was too fast paced for preparation. You forgot to mention that the Korean players had to get up at 4 a.m. every morning to play in the NASL, yet puma plays one open tourney and gets a trip to the finals.

Captain of HoSeo, a really intelligent protoss that all killed fOu in the GSTL about a week ago. He effectively imported the Bisu Build into SC2 and kept sC contained with FFs until his main was mined out.

But just look at the stream chats (which contain the same ppl w/out the same moderation) I for one use these threads and not stream chat, if you read stream chat you have a chance of contracting brain cancer.

As of now, looks to be the second best Protoss in Korea. Even MC was impressed by his play during the GSTL

No just think about it, if Ret is so good that he finished first in overall statistics during the league, what does that make Puma who eliminated him and is now in the grand final match?

Puma may win NASL but he hasn't made much impact in GSL either. MVP's lost a lot of his shine, but I still think at his best he's the current Terran President. Got hammered? He made it to the ST Finals... that's pretty impressive. And then he proceeded to lose to a very strong Toss player in his worst matchup. Not really indicative of anything at all.

Audio seems balanced on left/right channels as well. At least while they're filming in the intermission.

The NASL isn't a time sink, it is 1 day a week and a BO3. You are WAY better off playing in the NASL, for a chance at 50k, plus publicity which will grow your streams, brands, lessons for players, etc. than winning a bunch of 100-500 dollar cups. Just being on the NASL and seen, getting interviewed, hyped each week, etc. that is all a big deal. I think if you asked all the NASL players if they benefited from being in the league, even the ones that didn't win much, they'd all say def. I bet if you asked them, "Hey you can play in the league again, OR try to win a single elimination open bracket full of Koreans and other top gamers, which would you like to do?" Seriously, read through what you actually wrote, It doesn't set a bad precedent at all. If anything it might have players who think they are better than Puma try to get into the league, so they would have an easier shot at securing 1 of those 15 spots and win the whole thing. And just because you win the open doesn't mean you'll be unstoppable at an event that has some of the best talent in the world. He just happens to be playing really well.
