._. He was ahead from his failwinned bunker rush, when he ended up 21 supply to july's 17, and killing off july's queen. He would've had to screw up a lot more than that apparently. `that attack was just to force july to make units and not drones so he didnt have a huge lair timing with a lot of mutas and quicker expos Yer, it went ok but waiting the 20 or seconds for stim before pushing all the way in would have just been safer. Instead it turned a potential instant win into a scramble for units on both sides that he might have lost if he had slipped up again.

Fuck such epic soundtrack - Crimson tide isn't it? I would deffinetly have it as intro if I were in the NASL.

So is Donraegu. Being in Code B means little because even getting into Code A is ridiculously hard

pretty much this .... :-/ he's pretty awesome tho, but that's got nothing to do with it. poor ret. 10 hours flight for 15 minutes of sc2 games. Well, if Ret had won, then that wouldn't have happened... it all depends on if you win or not to make traveling to and participating in a tournament worthwhile, no? Imagine if PuMa had lost instead of Ret. Then PuMa would also have had 10+ hours of flight for 15 minutes. Kind of a shallow system, isn't it.

imagine what a great insult it would be to all the league players, who spent weeks and weeks playing matches to qualify for the finals, if the open bracket winner takes the entire tournament which is why they should close the finals to league players only.. That's retarded. If Puma's good enough to go through a tough open tournament and beat the best league players at the finals tournament, that just means he would have gotten to the finals anyways. how is it retarded. its supposed to be a league, why is it retarded to expect an actual player from the league to win the event. fine Puma won the open tournament, so place him into the league next season.
The league is for 15 spots in the finals, the open tournament is for just 1 spot in the finals. This was always known.

I feel sorry for Ret. Yea, not Puma's fault at all, he's playing awesome, but the league championship should have been closed to league members only. Otherwise there's not much incentive to be in the league. First off, Ret would have had to beat him, or a very good player at some point. With how Ret played there were probably only 4-5 players he was going to beat out of the 16 so if it wasn't out in the first round it would have been the 2nd. Also, in the league you are competing for 15 possible spots. Not in the league you are trying to fight through a massive talented open bracket that is single elimination for 1 spot. I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out that you'd want to be in the league, not to mention the notoriety of having weekly matches broadcast which makes sponsors happy and helps grow your name and brand. Bah, shouldn't have even responded to comments. Either you aren't thinking through anything, or I'm getting trolled. Either way wasn't worth the time. it sets a bad precedent though if puma wins then other pros will be like oh well i'm not going to waste my time playing in the league i'll just play in the open and if i can beat everyone in that, then i'll be unstoppable in the tournament you have to understand there's a finite number of hours in the day, and NASL is a huge time-sink for no potential reward, time that could better be spent streaming or playing in smaller cups
It was far, far easier to get into the NASL just by being popular and having a quirky application video then to compete against 1024 other players in Single elimination, a few rounds of which I'm sure was Bo1.
And i'm sure any pro would prefer margin for error (i.e a league format where 1-2 losses and you can easily still qualify) over such a brutal and unforgiving open tournament, even if it takes a few more hours of your life.
Oh, and you get a week to prepare in the league whilst most of the open tournament was too fast paced for preparation.

2 things, 1st of all, i've looked everywhere but my question is are they playing the final match as well tonight, or just through the semi's?
My second part is a comment, I dont think anybody is against women in esports(well some, but not most). However; it would be bad enough if they put guys up there who didn't know what they were talking about. But the fact that they're all women interviewing, instead of a mix just shows that they think we're mindless idiots who just want to see females. Wrong. Now if a women knows what the hell they're talking about, then yeah its plenty fair to have them up there. I'm just insulted as a viewer when somebody up there talking can't do a good job, regardless of gender.
Anyway an answer to the first question would be appreciated.

true, ret played a whole season of nasl tho and finished first in the overall statistics, if i am not mistaken. but my post wasn't mainly about ret. more like the format of nasl, which is (at least now in season 1) very flawed. just like the single elimination bo3 grand finals and the like.

I saw MC rush the booth too... he's probably in there right now brainstorming how he's going to spend 50K.
