No he didn't. That's just.. wrong. He beat two foreigners to get to the Semi's of a 16 man tournament. OK. But people don't include G-Stars as a tournament do they? That was a 16 man event, MKP got second in of course, and Kyrix won it. But nobody cares about that do they?

Nope MVP won first

1) Wind. Purely based on fanboyishness, but he's shown good mechanics. Hopefully his mechanical strength can overcome some sneaky builds >.>

2) Don't know either. SocceR because I can pronounce his name.

3) Sheth because he is a boss. He needs to win. :DD

4) MMA. Uberdropfun (TM)

I'm rooting for THE MAN. I still believe in him even when others do not.

I don't know how you could say Sheth is the favorite, but alright. I kinda already fear the Wolf/QXC bias when Sheth plays. I love Wolf as a commentator, but not when a FXO player is involved.

I still think San is really good, but maybe that's just me. He sucks at the early game and is great at the late game. He played a great series against MVP in the World Championship where he was evenly matched with him until he, for some reason, did cheese rushes twice and lost both games.

I want to see San/MMA.

I love MMA, I have him as my fantasy GSTL captain, but I need him to lose, so that sheth can have another ZvP after he crushes through san!!!

Polt cursed MMA to forever Code A, that means losing in the Ro16, not Ro32, i expect him to win this match then vote against him next time... even though he's my GSTL team captain LOL

I believe in Sheth, i'm scared he'll lose to some cheese or something dumb though

I wasn't talking about Sheth...

San was regarded as a terrible Protoss by all, until he made semis with the mass storms and became Artosis' new darling for it. If you're counting the World Championship as his second semis, he only beat two foreigners, White-Ra and Dimaga.. He 4 gated White-Ra, and Dimaga by his own admission was terrible at ZvP. In the next championship, he went straight to code A.

I just don't understand why people consider him a good Protoss.

He beat NesTea, that's all you gotta do.

He beat NesTea in a Bo1 when Protoss was OP and NesTea said he didn't practice at all for him.

Thats right and Idra only practises 15 minutes each day.

San was never as bad as people made out, he had one fail game vs Check where he had bad cannon placement and got some heat for that. Very easy mistake to change, and he improved.

He's a good player and one of the better Protoss in Korea. Don't try to downplay his achievements as you can do that for anyone to make them look bad.

Haha. Such ardent hatred.

GOGO SHETH!

On a side note it's challenging to spell out Sheth's name in a longer form like "Sheeeeeth" because that just reads "shEEEEth"... Alas.

Nope he got the tournament completely wrong because the only tournament where san won against 2 foreigners was the world championship.

He wasn't making any correlation between the two. Gstar was won by Kyrix, MarineKing second. GainWard was won by MVP, MarineKing third after Nestea.

World championship was MVP, MarineKing.

Ok! I've been practicing for versus protoss almost my entire time here in Korea. Playing against Oz (who is amazing by the way) and against optik and other korean Protoss's has been really helpful!

However being here has taught me a few things I didn't know. If you havn't seen a cheese it can be insanely powerful and adapting is very important! Hopefully vs San I'll be able to get past any cheese and play a macro game. Thats what I've been preparing for! (Don't tell San!)

Anyway, the point of my post here is I geuss "I'll try my best thanks alot for those of you rooting for me win or lose." <3
Team LiquidUnderneath it all they were really quite nice. They just got screwed up. Mostly by stuff that wasn't entirely their fault.

World championship was MVP, MarineKing.

There was also YGosu, won by MC and bomber second, if anyone was interested. I think that's all for large korean non-gsl tournaments.

I'm prepared to be disappointed again. No luck at all for the people I am a fan of and liquibet for (except Ryung), so I'll just go practice with the AI instead.
