Awesome! Wish I could go but I'm going to be busy on Sunday. Well, I'd be knocked out on Saturday anyway, so I guess that wouldn't matter so much

Just a question. Why host it on the SEA server? The latency on the east cost is usually better when using the NA server and everyone with an SEA account has access to the NA server anyway.

I wont get into detail and I'm not a professional so don't hold me to it but I believe it depends on the ISP.

In any event, it is too late to change it now that the sign-ups have started but if I organise another tournament I'll make sure to test latency on SEA and NA at the venue to see which is better. Good point to bring up Hunted, thanks.

I thought it was the other way round, what with Optus being a Singaporean company and all.

You'd think so but no. I get great sea ping with iinet and I know people with telstra with similar. Everyone I know with optus or tpg complains about sea latency

I have had a lot of sign-ups in a short amount of time and if the current sign-up rate keeps up the tournament size could be extended to 64 players.

I note that in the event 64 players show up at the tournament and participate, the prize pool would most likely jump up another $200. If you have already signed up, tell your friends in Brisbane and help sky-rocket this tournament!

The first 32 slots are full but if enough sign-ups are received the player limit will be upgraded to 64.

There are no rank restrictions on sign-ups.

Hey Slayar, any chance you could post the list of players as it stands? If it jumps to 64 man obviously this will change but it would be interesting to see whos going (P.S. if the round robin groups exist, seeing those would also be boss ) cheers either way

The $10 covers everything you will need to participate in the tournament. Extra charges may be incurred by the venue if you damage its equipment.

A replay pack and possibly VODs will be released in the near future. This could take a few weeks as I am currently experiencing technical difficulties (power supply died). Please send me any feedback regarding the tournament by posting in a tournament thread or by email at BESTsignups@gmail.com.
