If players were kicked out of the pool play, players like CatZ and so on, do they have to qualify next season or are they invited again? With the competition I'm seeing in the Open Bracket, if they have to qualify like this, they'll never make it back to NASL again. 16 of the 50 players from season 1 are out of the tournament and must requalify. The list of who is, unsurprisingly, not to be found on the NASL site. I can't find it on Liquipedia either. The only source I've found is here. Notable eliminated players include Tyler, Drewbie, Rainbow, Haypro, Catz, and QXC. Of those, the only players I could imagine having a chance to requalify (if Korea continues their invasion) are Rainbow (cause he is Korean, duh :D) and QXC, if he stays in Korea and practices like a madman.
There is some thread about the NASL overall, with overview over the groups and each player's respective performance. I made some posts about the performance of the respective regions regarding elimination in the first season and participation in the next one.
edit: as for who is eliminated, just go to the overall standing on the nasl site. the bottom 16 get the axe.

Frustrating to have to dig through the LR thread to find basic information such as player names. ^^ agree with that statement

What concerns me is that the people we've been watching play for 2 months aren't even going to play in the finals. Basically the league has been a useless waste of time for the players and somewhat of a distraction to keep us viewers busy until the actual tournament begins.
I realize the bandwagon i'm jumping on is full of korean hater, but that's not my problem. My problem is that none of the people who participated in the league has an actual shot at winning any of the prize money which will go to a bunch of random dudes who didn't participate in the event. I mean no disrespect to the Koreans, and especially none to the organizers, who kept me entertained for a good 2 months following the league, but It seems to me that this open tournament makes the entire event into a farce.
Is that what you say about the entire MLB season? That the whole thing is a waste for the 22 of the teams because only 8 make it to the finals?
That is the *whole point* of a league. You play a lot of games to figure out who is the better teams, and then those teams go to the playoffs. It is the same in nearly every sport in the world.
