That should put him between 24th and 26th on points. So it would take 8-10 guys not showing up in Anaheim for him to be in Pool Play.

Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402)

SixJax Major had a good showing, but thats about it. Something has to be done to improve the skill level. Starcraft will never reach the heights we all want it to if NA can't produce world class champions. Sen is not European edit: ninja'd

The same top players from beta are the top players now. Whereas in EU and Korea, the scene has evolved greatly from beta. The sponsors in NA only care about sponsoring those with big names that were established in beta, rather than seeking out players that are actually good, of which I'm sure NA has plenty to offer lurking on the ladder.

But not surprisingly... as much as I love Thorzain, he's gonna have a hell of a time trying to beat Select again (especially if Select's confidence is back up if/when he beats inControl, where I think Select is heavily favoured). He gets a match against Machine (Thorzain favoured but I consider it his weakest MU), and then... MC again. Don't see Thorzain making it out of that one.

While IdrA was indeed trained in Korea for awhile NA has plenty of great SC2 players, some not at this tournament. Huk is a two time Code S player, and while he has suffered from inconsistancy, he has shown exceptional results at times. Fenix, while arguably an SA player, has had a solid showing at the tournament. I believe Sheth is also from NA. and SixJax-Vibe, a comparative unknown from NA, has had a beastly showing so far from the open bracket, taking down two dominant EU players: Morrow, and TLO.

Not every country can be good at everything, but they will have at least 1-2 players who will be really good at it, and the years go by, each era will have its hero.

Of course it's team-killing, but it means there's a higher chance of at least one Liquid player advancing. If all three were in different brackets there would be a higher chance of NONE of them making it.

There's a 50% - 100% chance that a liquid player will make it past that round instead of just the base 50.
