Wow the reaction from the crowd when Idra wins is just awesome

Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402)

I think Vibe takes out Tyler, Major takes out Vibe, Major beats Ret by dropping him everywhere so his macro is interrupted and then takes out Haypro. I do think Haypro has a great chance of beating Major though, but I have seen Major play a lot on Sheth's stream and he's pretty good TvZ. Haypro played well today though and it seems zergs have a slight metagame advantage right now so TL hwaiting. I don't like Sixjax's chances in that scenario, Haypro already beat Major, and Ret is better than Haypro... even if Major gets through Ret he has the extended series handicap against Haypro in the next round... that's assuming Vibe or Major beat Tyler which is no easy task in itself. Personally I think it's pretty safe bet that a Liquid guy is coming out of that bracket thread.

Saying NA starcraft scene is far behind Europe and Korea is not "Nation Bashing". Please. KR>EU>NA. If you can't accept that then you're...well I don't wanna say it. Sure, the EU is a stronger scene overall right now, compared to NA, but its silly to say they are way ahead, especially on the highest levels. The NA players are very competitive with them, as this tournament has shown.

Seriously, the winner already got an advantage by advancing in the tournament (or finishing higher in pool play), why does he need a double reward? The one thing about extended series is it means there's much less chance for people to want to throw dead rubber matches in pool play, which is a good thing. For example Idra already had #1 sewn up by the time he played Thorzain and without extended series he has no reason to try his best against Thorzain since the match would mean nothing to him. With extended series he really wants to try and win in case he has to face Thorzain later in the tourney.

And at the same time, I can't find anything about him losing, so he must be in there still. Or not?

There is like < 0.0001% chance of them meeting again, because Idra knows that if he loses Thorzain finishes 4th, and with MC 2nd (with a 2-0 of Thorzain), it's most likely MC coming out of that side of the bracket, and there's very little chance of Thorzain winning a BO7 with a 2-game handicap. It's still stupid though. Maybe at most a one-game lead, but 2-0 in a bo7 is way way way too much.

July got second in his group behind MMA, so he is placed high up in the losers bracket, he will face either Moon, Sjow, Drewbie or KawaiiRice (most likely Moon) for the right to play the loser of either Losira/Nani or Idra/MMA

If MC has the balls to say IdrA's wins were a mistake, then he should be forced to definitively prove it. There have been many arguments about it, and most have them have gone so back and forth that eventually it just comes down to two different styles, just like different cultures and religions. There is no way to prove that one is better than another.
