Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402)

Not sure, guessing they had some coding errors and people were accidentally getting it for free, so they decided to spin it in their favour instead of making everyone angry by bringing down the stream to fix it.

July seems to be playing just fine, kinda funny how it effects some people more than others.
Every one of Julys open bracket games were under 10 minutes. I dont think im speaking hyperbole either he just attacked and won in first 10 minutes every time.
this mlg has to be the best weekend of sc2 so far. Ever. dual streams is just sick, as much as we linked them eagles during dallas, these guys got their shit going, and man its good stuff.

Yeah, amazingly bad, but amazing alright.
How was that a bad game? better then giant ball vs giant ball atleast they attacked before 200/200 TT
Many mistakes, leaving helions unattended, at the very beginning Fenix a moving and attacking the orbital while getting owned by helions and marines, leaving tanks unsieged and getting owned, not lifting orbitals, no gamesense to switch to marauders or banshees, bad rally points more free units, I'm sure there are more it was a long game. Mainly not sieging siege tanks as they are just expensive marauders if you don't.
Man I been in my chair for about 24 hours now lol, watching day 1, then replays of the non casted games I wanted to see and now day 2, but I can't get up cause of this match.

July's average game time is also like 7 min whereas some people are playing back to back 20+ min games.
The guy is a BW veteran who is used to playing 10-12 hours a day. I'm pretty positive July has more endurance than anyone else in this tournament.
Practice isn't quite the same as competition. However I do agree his body can most likely cope fine and he does have tons of experience. It's mainly mental fatigue.

Probably cause he's played like 5 games over 10 minutes, and 2 of those were 10.5/12 mins
He's basically played the equivalent of one tvt in actual game time.

I'm not complaining about MLG's approach, but I think it'd be fine to stream half a series. Hell, even jumping into the middle of a game, if they had enough casters for it. It'd be awesome to be able to see, like, Tastosis saying, "All right, this match is over, now let's join this other match already in progress. Wheat and Day9, how are things over there?" And then the stream cuts to their feed and they spend a minute catching us up about what's happened so far in the game and then just start broadcasting that series.
It'd take a lot more infrastructure, of course. And you'd need to have the other casters in the game and observing, just so they know what's been going on, and just on the off chance that we'll want to cut to them. That's a lot of time that's potentially wasted. But it'd be awesome.
Clearly I've been watching Roland Garros a bunch lately.
I agree with you. I wouldn't mind picking up a game midstream especially if it was a good game. other sports do it...why not esports.
How would you even do that? MLG has only 2 computers that are "hooked up" to the stream. You can only be an observer of one game at a time. YOu can't just start streaming a game that doesn't even have MLG obs in them...
Right, that's why the post that polaris quoted (which was my post) acknowledged that it would take a lot more infrastructure and work, and why neither of us was blaming MLG for not doing it or talking as though it was a trivial thing to add.

You think pvp or zvz is better? hahaha
I actually do think PvP is better in terms of excitement and variety.
Dunno how anyone can hate on TvT. It's sooooooo insane. The only time it's not is when two bad players are playing or one very good vs bad. A high level TvT has the most back and forth and comebacks and everything~!
playing tvt though, is one of the most stressful things ever.
I switched from T to Z because of it. TT
.... isn't ZvZ just as stressful? =/
Zvz revolves around quite some BOs losses and roaches/infestors battles. Not so much stressful as boring IMO.
There are almost no BO losses in ZvZ beyond 6 pool vs 14 hatch.
