Okay we're going to start cracking down on people bashing players for no reason. You don't have to like every player, but at least show some respect. (as of page 402) |

Taking that in account and considering there wont be surprises in open brackets and people going trough would be Major, July, Thorzain, Morrow they should be placed like this.
Group A: July Group B: Morrow Group C: Thorzain Group D: Major
Now dont kill me IRL if i am mistaken, im pretty sure this i correct though. TSL champion in group C, keeps getting better and better.
And Thorzain vs MC rematch ?
Yes !

CatZ hates Koreans being in NASL, is he boycotting Koreans in MLG?

But seriously, it's too bad. It would have been a great match.

And I think considering how succesful MLG sc2 seems to become maybe they'll increase the prizemoney for circuit events like columbus to 10k for no 1 and maybe 100k for the grandfinals by 2012. Just have some patience sc2's still young
love the free HQ btw :D

Is it just me, the sound is "spiking red" sometimes? I have the speakers and player on low/mid but is still spiking time to time.

CTF just isnt as strategic as CS DE_ maps you shoulda watched the cod stream...such a joke litterally no one talked for the whole match except "come on guys we can come back". And i remember in cgs they said spectators were having a hard time telling what was going on. I play cod and i hard a hard time following which team or player we were watching lol god, i used to get nerd chills watching cs matches just as bad as sc2 now, faking pushes with nades, crossfiring hallways, making the decision to run or walk to mask your footsteps.. ah those were the days

If there was an MLG every weekend for a month. The prize money would still be greatly lower than GSL code S. Think about that. All the MLG money is concentrated at the end-of-year finals. If you play MLG for a whole year, you would be playing for so much less if you play GSL code S for a Year.
It's not just MLG though, it's a trade off between GSL and all other Western tournaments. The live ones anyway.

I personnaly can't see any differences between FPSs. They're ALL shit for competitive gaming.
No no no, Quake Live and Counterstrike 1.6 are incredibly intricate.
Only problem is CS is a bad spectator sport, but quake duel is very smooth and exiting.
Starcraft is better but don't disregard fps'.

WOW I can't believe catz didn't show to play July... is that a joke? I would have 3 different alarms, a wake up call, and 6 different friends scheduled to call me.
IT'S MLG AND YOU'RE PLAYING JULY.... HOW CAN YOU JUST NOT SHOW UP???????

LMAO I guess too much partying for Catz last night ... or his roommates forgot to wake him up =o

Are they aware that the blue streams audio SUCKS

Canada does have some unlimited bandwidth internets, but the packages are usually pretty expensive (close to $100/month I believe) unless you go with one of the "underground" companies. I would say 30-60gb/month is the norm for the vast majority of Canadians. And noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... July!!! Maybe it's a troll twitter post?! =(

Plenty of koreans participate in all the international and online tournaments, I never understood where this idea came from. Foreigners don't go to GSL because they are worse than everyone in the GSL, every other excuse is silly

I know it's kinda off topic, and i'm not really a console guy as of late but, which one is better, BO or MW/MW2?

No lag, no jet lag, nothin'. We've (myself included) given them every excuse in the book in every tournament involving foreigners but today, I expect Korean domination no matter what.
And I think we'll see that (july!!!!!). So far the only Korean losses have been Moon vs. Nani and MC vs. Idra Losira 3-0 MMA 3-0 Moon 2-1 MC 2-1 July undefeated in open. And yet I still see 100 different people making excuses for MC's ONE best of three loss... if a Korean doesn't win this tournament, it's b/c a foreigner was better than all the Koreans that showed up. Since MC, July, and Losira showed up... I'd call that a hell of an accomplishment. One tournament doesn't decide who's better than who, specially with a fucked up format like MLG Not saying when a foreigner wins that they're better than Koreans of anything, but let's not blame overseas earthquake lag, jetlag, or a "fucked up format" for a Koreans loss. Koreans ARE allowed to lose a game.... No what are you talking about the only reason MC lost to Idra is because sundance came down and shot him in the chest 5 times before the game. Koreans don't lose you should know that if you have ever read a LR thread.
+ Show Spoiler +Yea i hate this mentality too.
