Gratz to Nerchio for roflstomping his way to 800$ and proving the doubters wrong. If he wasn't the flaming kid that he is, I'd surely be his fanboy. Disappointing/anti-climactic end to a great tournament, thx for the casting marathon, Mr. Biscuit and all the guys (and girls) involved in making this tourny possible! Feels like Morrow went from revolutionizing TvZ in the first game to uncreative allins cuz he wasn't rly able to deal with ling/baneling/muta instead of infestor/bl. + Show Spoiler +Yeah, I'm exaggerating a bit here. Nerchio has been mannered lately, maybe because he's been winning so much. His BM is still stuck in my mind though. Using a few more ghosts and getting good upgrades isn't rly a revolution and Morrow isn't the first doing it. But i feel like this style is way underused and I haven't seen it in serious high level games rly
Btw, i loved the player introductions! TB's voice seems to be made for this! <3

Amazing display of production quality and stamina (TB casted for 11 hours straight). It was live, very well organized and very entertaining. I hope it generated some nice revenue despite the ad problems. Still, I think the format needs some considering. TB said on stream that he will likely make it a two-day tournament in the future because it's too long as it is now. However, that kind of defeats one of the original ideas behind this tournament which was to make it compact and time-efficient: get in - play - get out, all in one day. Why not just do Bo3s? Or would that cut too much screentime?

Please note all players have been paid. I would challenge every other tournament to treat pros properly and pay up promptly, you cannot have pros if they don't get to eat because of tardy sponsors.
Now I'm going to bed.
Seriously admirable TB.
Hats off to you sir!

Great event <3 Morrow on cheese tilt, too bad his macro games were good, but I guess he's still not so experienced in modern TvZ (timings and all).

My concern with BO3s is it isn't really enough to give the players a fair shot at proving themselves. It works in a league with group stages but in a single elimination? Definitely not.
I'll have to carefully consider the format. Because the pros have to stick around for the majority of the day, it's unpleasant for them, plus it causes organisational problems when they have to play other games in the interim and there are clashes.

It's sad to see my favourite Terran lose so many TvZs with that mech push. )):

I have never seen better TvZ cross positions on taldarim than the first game. Reminded me how much of a fan of Morrow I was when he used to be T :'(

I watched WhiteRa vs Stephano, fell asleep, then woke up for the third place match. I hate being Australian. Someone needs to invent a device to slap me whenever I nod off.

I went to bed after the ro8 was over.. Why did MorroW play Terran in the finals? Seems peculiar

Thank you for a very entertaining tournament TB/Intricacy and ofc all players who participated, the large viewer numbers were well deserved imo, especially seeing with how little staff you pulled it all off.
A co-caster would have been nice, shame that you couldn't find one on short notice. I really think having an "expert" kind of caster along with TB, maybe an an active player or something, would make for a nice caster combination.
It will be hard to find the perfect format for this kind of tournament tho, it's obvious that having the players dedicate the whole day for it is not perfect but I don't think having them all available at multiple days will be much easier... we'll see. Even if you don't think bo3 is a good format for this you should at least think about it imo, it would save a ton of time... anyways, looking forward to more SHOUTcraft initationals.

I think Morrow played Terran because he lost to Nerchio without scoring even one single map in ZvZ few days ago in Dailymotion? I'm not sure, maybe that was different tournament.
Anyway great show, TB thanks for this! GG Morrow GW Nerchio

why did sjow play under morrow's account in the finals? /trollface

DeMuslim? I think the tournament should be done using replay casts, that way despite the loss of excitement the time efficiency would still be very good, anyways well done TB, thats a monumental effort for pulling that off, 11 hours straight plus the pain of organising has likely given you a few stomach ulcers, but good job none the less.

Now I'm going to bed. 6k Dollars?! Are you sure about that, TLO did 15k+ for 24 hours and and it was only 2.5k Hmm we'll see I suppose. So you know the 2 zeroes? That means hundred Oh my, I'm embarrased. I misread that. Maybe it's from staring at the screen throughout this tournament I read that as 6k too. Scary.

Damn I missed the final, will there be replays/VODs ?
