The terrain definetly favours colossus/HT and tanks.
The terrain favours not playing army v army but on position, feints and counterattacks.
This makes all the people incapable of doing these things call it imbalanced and whatever shit.
The map is pretty good in that respect.

Alicia took out nestea rmbr?
Tbh the only person i can see that has a good chance of taking down nestea would be MMA.(after seeing him taking down DRG)

Wow even on a map as bad as crossfire for a zerg NesTea was able to win, what can't he do.

It was FruitDealer, not Nestea.

I felt like i was watching two very good Terrans dueling it out. Thanks a lot!

Really really good =)

I don't think game 2 was as ridiculously one sided as some people are saying, the whole early/mid was very balanced with NesTea fending off the initial push well, but Bomber being able to kill a lot of workers with blue flame hellions, and eventually deny the third for quite a long time.
NesTea was just very good with his army positioning to flank Bomber a lot in the later stages, and then used his awesome muta harass (that Bomber defended poorly) to force Bomber into unfavourable situations. Sure it ended decisively in one players favour, but it was pretty close for a good long while.

you need to see insane shit for a game to be worth watching? what about just good solid play?

Lol at HSM. It would be epic for Bomber to shoot an HSM and GG as it falls down on the floor

Nestea is certainly the favorite, but he can still be taken out. He almost lost to Cezanne a few days ago in his match MU and only won cause of an epic hold. He's the best player in the world currently, but there is no certainty he makes the finals.

Do they like losing because of some random baneling mine? Genius idea, make a raven when there are 29 mutas out on the field. Genius idea, then dont build it and lose your whole army to a few banelings. His point was with 29 mutas on the field, building a raven and not building a raven is pretty much the same thing. How are you going to stop the mutas from simply going in and sniping the raven? If we are talking about a raven that is following the marine army, then there is no way the mutas can fly in and snipe the raven before the marines deal more damage to the mutalisks. Why you ask? The answer is pdd. pdd, then we cant use HSM anyway and having ravens cuts into medivac production we can have 2 ports, but then tank production slows down
Why even bother with HSM? HSM wont hit a single mutalisk and means you wasted a ton of resources for nothing. Stick to the pdd and the raven following the marine army and the raven will stay alive to scout for those baneling bombs, period.
The only way the mutas can pick it off is when the terran loses sight of it and it wanders away too much from the marines.

you don't have to be a master chef/connoisseur to know the food you're served is bad, right? in the same vein, even though people here may not mechanically play as well as the players right now, they are free to make whatever sensible analysis they can out of the games.
the fact is that neither player were 100%, sc vs nestea 5, that was almost 100%...bomber from his play is just not as brutal as sc with the marine/tank (the only things he seems to make past early game), as incredible as MKP with the control, as creative as boxer, or as solid macro-wise as nada.

Ravens aren't really an option at all when your opponent has 35 mutas with +2 attack. In Broodwar the Terran Drophsip was slower than Scourge which was an Anti-Air Baneling and only 2 Scourges (= 1 Larvae) killed an entire dropship. Still every terran is dropping the Zerg. Why post? You didn't make a point at all or disprove my point.
My point was that your point is invalid. Only because Ravens could be picked off doesn't mean you can't build them. If your point was true there would be no reason to build medivacs too.

I'm not sure, did NesTea show burrow before that moment? I mean, would you scan every time even if you didn't know if baneling landmines were possible? THough I guess it's highly likely in such a long game... A scan IS 300 minerals (or whatever a mule mines) after all
