Reason Taeja wins:
1) He is one of the few players that is very balanced across all 3 matchups. Unlike players like July, DRG, MMA that all have 1 very weak MU.
2) He is a strong Code S player playing primarily Code A/B players.
I mean yea it's amazing that he is destroying everyone left and right. But it doesn't really surprise me

Wow ANOTHER Weekly for Taeja. Lol simply amazing!
|
Taeja definately played like a Code S player today, can't same the same for ForGG or Annyung.
|
I LOVE the Korean weekly. LOVE.
It's a chance to see Korean players outside o the GSL, which is great, because I just can't stay up until 2 am for the START of something >.>

When orb says that he was casting the NASL weeks 5-8, does that mean NASL actually does that many weeks of games in advance? I didn't know that,I thought they were 1 week at a time. More surprised that results don't leak then.
|
The Korean weekly is amazing, please keep up the good work! I love the way you guys do restreams, provide vods, release replays, amazing casting, etc. You guys own, hard.
Also, who won the 3rd/4th place match? :D
|
why is taeja the only player who constantly plays in these? i think he needs some competition now.
|
I'm very inclined to start calling it the Taeja Weekly now.

Yes, they do many weeks of games in advance, it's one of the many reasons people tend to shy away from NASL.

Would you please tell TaeJa to come by his fan club and say hi? :D

What's DRG's weakest matchup? Seems to me everything is 70% and even in foreign tournaments he's 60%+.

What? Since when?
The only bad Protoss he pretty much lost to is Tester whereas he lost a lot more to bad Terrans.

its not just the W/L record, his play is pretty poor vs protoss compared to his vs terran.
And it's quite obvious he'd struggle more in code S if not for the terran party.

He also plays people who can compete on a similar level. Being in Code A or B does not mean the players are necessarily strictly inferior. Remember, players like Alicia, Byun, Min, MC, etc. are all fantastic players in "Code B." However, I do agree he is a strong Code S player, and I really do hope he destroys his up and down matches. :D

He did just lose to.... Gatored.... Whose best MU isnt even meant to be PvZ I think.
But also all the attention is on his ZvT because far fewer zergs are considered good at that matchup, whereas plenty of zergs seem to have an easy time in ZvP. For example Nestea/Losira/Coca all 70+% ZvP, but various degrees of bad in ZvT.
