MKP has beaten Happy, Gumiho, Jjakji in the recent past.

try to comprehend this ppl who try to discredit Kas. he gets way too little recognition.

Also just amazing to see an european Terran doing well at a tournament. Usually it's all about the Z-to-the-P in europe.

Im happy for Kas showchasing how good he can be once.

Kind of proud as a European how the tournament went, you might say europe had the most participants, but most of them arent worth mentioning at all. Topplayers from each region are missing and europe does well. gj!

Top contenders all around were missing, but the chinese have been stomping more than the europeans overall.

Contrary to popular belief, competition at WCG is always stiff. I cannot name one WCG where there wasn't a upset simply because the supposed weaker player just plain outplayed the favourite.

Oh thats certainly true. Im still quite proud

And yeah, im kind of used to see China AND Korea in another world/league from wc3 back then, so it doesnt surprise me at all - especially when we see Sky/Infi/Fly/TH000 making the switch.

MacSed for example was a midlvl chinese human compared to the other chinese players... prolly rank 10 in china. and hes pretty damn good already

Lots of losses on that page.

I know Polt is a great player, but this is a game of streaks. He is not on a good one.

Let's not pull out online cups as definite proof.

I wonder if Titan makes it through XiGua whether he can take down MVP... MVP dropped a game to both MacSed and BlinG so far, Protoss might have the best chance to take him down.

Man I wish we could have seen Kas vs MKP, seems like it was over fast - I wonder if MKP cried again (probably)

I actually still miss brood war not being at wcg. I dont see why a game that is still fun to watch that requires more skill to be good at needs to be removed because its too old and a sequel came out.

Indeed, if you need people to consider Esports as real sports. The rules should not change for a long time.
Sequel is just creating a new sports with completely different rules.

Honestly, the Lyn vs Sky series was so much better than the SC2 games I've seen today and almost all week. SC2 may have all the money in esports right now, but it has such a long way to go as a competitive title. You can see how much more mature WC3 is in comparison--though obviously maturity should be expected from a dying game.

Well, you have to take into concideration that
a) you arent used to see highlvl wc3 as often anymore, therefore you are more excited and happy
b) Wc3 is much more developed then sc2 is currently, its just like with BW, BW games are for some people more exciting as well.

Yes, you're 100% correct. We're making the same point though.

SC2 is obviously, obviously underdeveloped compared to BW, but watching WC3 again was also an eye-opening reminder that, even though SC2 is full of money, it's also underdeveloped compared to many other games, WC3 included.
