If this is due to Artosis, I strongly recommend you guys watch Sen vs Jack game from main stage. You knew Artosis how bias when he hypers.

Hopefully people read my post the right way and not like balance whine. My point is to be critical of WCG and their system, not how the races work. Lastly, pretty please with sugar on top, stop calling WCG the "Olympics of Esports" because it isn't. WCG is a shadow of it former self, and the production is five to ten years behind today's standard. The quality on both VODs and the live stream, are by today's standard not acceptable.

If you ever watched Xigua's replays before, you'd know he's very very good. He's extremely fast, great multitasking... He's just inconsistent. I'm not surprised at all to see him 6-0 his group, it was a weak group anyway.

All maps are cross spawns and GSTL has proven zergs are quite capable in bo1 scenarios. That's because players in the GSTL play according to very specific strategies (as snipers, to respond to an opponent's weak matchup against zerg, using a particular build that is strong against a particular map, etc.). When it's just a straight-up all-out group stage where the point is to get consistent results [hence round-robin format], bo1 doesn't make sense.

Yeah, this is what i was thinking too. I was really looking forward to seeing Xigua play but it was simply horrible and disappointing. Can't really say anything else about the others either.. But today Xigua seemed to play very well, since he took down 3 fairly decent players.

I am intrigued by the Chinese players. It was quite silent around that scene. Looks like they catch up pretty fast like in Wc3 if they are dedicated.
