That was almost exciting. I keep hoping the finals will be better but you can really tell who the better player is when you give them a full week to prepare. O well maybe next time.

Since always incas response was 3gate expansion without cannons, NesTea will try to destroy it if he knows what tactic is the best and I guess he figured it out pretty well. Is it imba? No. If there will be a lots of tourney wins with zerg as for just roach ling pushes THEN will blizzard do something for it. As for now the future tourneys will tell us the state of the game.

Things Inca needs to learn before going against zerg again ever.
1. DT expands are nice, but if you throw down a forge MAKE CANNONS
2. Variations of the same build against Nestea who you saw make spores in time in each of the games is not a good idea...

This is so true. If I was InCa, i'd have a hard time dealing with that embarrassing series, but I'd have some solace knowing that I'm still bringing home 20K.

I really don't get it either. But maybe we need to blame OGs Protoss and Thewind for this, they analyzed Nestea and still let Inca goes for DT, very weird decision.

Except you have less defensive units than a 3gate expand. He did 0 fucking damage every game and NesTea just killed him, it didn't even require all-ins. DT expand is only good if you can kill some stuff before the DT die.

What happened doesn't matter. The idea is to pressure, not to have more units. Should he have done better? yes. But that doesn't make DT opening an all-in.

Going to give a shout out to JP's stream for making the worst GSL finals 10x better. Also incontrol's native american impression is gold. That pretty much was the best part of this entire finals...

the problem is, 2 of those combos already happened MVP 4-0'd MKP and MC 4-1'd July. TBH, right now, the only possible super close finals at the top level i could see right now would involve MC/MVP/Nestea/Bomber, no one else on that level yet i think, although there is always room for improvement.
