I feel like Drewbie's style just got raped by Dimaga the first two games... He was ahead on bases at one point, ahead on upgrades, but he never attacked... He missed every single timing he could have hit and then just got decimated by a fast tech, 200/200 Ultra, Infestor, Zergling composition the first two games.
The first game, he probably could have made it work with Ghosts, the second game, he didn't even have the ghosts for the Infestors.
There were 3-4 moments in those games where if Drewbie had just attacked, he would have won the game, but he never attacked.

Nahh much respect to Drewbie for taking on the best from EU and on the EU server so he got latency issues.

I totally agree. Game 1 could have gone either way if he made the ghosts work. Game two he either needed to try and make ghosts work again or pressure way earlier. These games were/could have been a lot closer than everyone is making them out to be.

Why are 9 out of 13 of your posts (10 including this one) either completely whining about the 'lack of quality' with North American events, or flaming someone?
Stop being such a jerk
Drewbie's had really tough opponents so far lol, Dimaga is one of the best Euro Z's as well as one of the best foreign Z's, and same goes for White-Ra, and Beastyqt is an awesome player too. Drewbie has been in a slump recently
Hopefully he can pick it up!

Without knowing exactly what goes on behind the scenes, I am pretty sure showmatches are not initiated by the players. drewbie is just showing how to be a good sport. Accepting all these showmatches, providing us spectators great entertainment. He could easily have declined the requests for showmatch series, but fortunately for us he didn't.
Starting off going vs Whitera and moving on to DIMAGA aren't really easy tasks, kudos to drewbie for taking the challenge and the best of luck for next week.

No disrespect but, it would've been more interesting with someone like Kiwikaki. Just saying...

maybe go fund some showmatches with KiWiKaKi in them then, lol. Drewbie is a great player, he JUST won the first Zotac NA cup not long ago, as of for TvZ he beat CheckPrime and oGsZenio BOX in tournaments recently, there's always people bitching about everything, its sort of annoying. If you don't like it, don't watch it. I was watching drewbie's screen during his match with Dimaga, Dimaga took a lot of risks and they payed off hoping drewbie wouldn't move out and killed at many points in time, and being aggressive at unlikely timings.
I thought Dimaga's play was fantastic and very clever, that's why he's in my opinion one of the best zergs in the world. But also I was watching drewbie's screen while he was playing, its pretty annoying latency to the EU server a lot of the time, its pretty random, but playing with lagspikes and right after you wake up/exercise without any warm-up isn't ideal either. props to Dimaga <3 he played a great series. Better luck to drew next time, I know for a fact he can beat anyone.

I thought this has been beaten to death that EU NA doesn't have much of a cross server latency issue.
Not sure why Drewbie did this, doesnt' make him look that great.

Who is Beastyqt, he beat Drewbie 3-0.
I feel like the ROOT players have sort of plateaued lately, with the exception of Kiwikaki and Destiny perhaps (since Destiny HAS admittedly improved a lot since joining a Team, but still isn't at the same level as some of the other pros, despite making IPL 2).

I have been enjoying this series, + Show Spoiler +There is no shame in losing to whitera and dimaga, I dont know Beastyqt nor seen those matches but there have been some good games so far, im looking forward to seeing some more.

I have to agree with CatZ ,even though im a Dimaga fan, i say that drewbie played very good in first 2 games, it was much closer than it looked, too bad he mismicroed ghosts on terminus.

Its not like EU players play every single NA tournament on EU server, they play them all on NA, with latency also in bad time of the day for them. Although what i find ironic in ur post is that u praise Drewbie for beating Check and Zenio who played with even worse lag than Drewbie had on EU but u blame the lag for him losing to Dimaga. I guess now u know how every EU player feels when they play NASL or IPL or anything else.

All i can say for the lag issue is that's what you guys expect out of Europeans and Koreans playing in North American tournaments. Pulling that as an explanation doesn't reflect well.
I mean, Drewbie played against Cloud, Socke and Boxer when they had to play on NA server and he still lost, what's the reasoning there? Is it really a lag issue or the people he's up against just being better players.
I'm a bit confused though, you use the wakeup/no exercise explanation, but doesn't Drewbie know he's going to be playing at that time?

I think we've pretty much established through various threads on this forum that EU skill-wise is superior to NA.
