Seriously? I have seen the games where mondragon outplayed cruncher. And "innovative" style is going each game stargate into void/collo? Yeah very innovative..

even hydras dont beat blink stalkers with any semblance of micro from the toss

And whooooo, Artosis casting next weekend! I'M GETTIN' NERD CHILLS! =D Why would Mondragon join Sixjax when he's signed with MYM already?
Whoops, for some reason I thought MYM didn't have a SC2 team - I see I'm mistaken though (at least I think I am, they're players section of their website has some issues loading heh). Just scratch that bit about recruiting Mon out then

It's sad how often this or something similar happens. However I will be truly ecstatic if Boxer wins or is even in the final.

I guess fair-weather fans are everywhere. Also, I'd love to see an example of this "superb micro" you're talking about.

I mean why else would they be getting knocked out. I guess zergs just need to learn that being 70 food up on a protoss doesn't matter anymore.

I would actually enjoy Naniwa vs. MC, or maybe Thorzain taking it all. But no zergs left makes me sad.

Are you trolling?
The likelihood that all of the zerg players who tried to qualify for TSL just need to "step up their games" is pretty low, statistically; that would require that all of the high-level zergs are slackers for some mysterious reason.
Or are you saying that there's just something about the zerg race that makes players who select it play poorly?

Oh, roaches+broodlord is what I meant. The corruptors were more "thinking ahead" for when Void Rays would come.
It won't be cost effective but I don't think there's any way for a zerg to be cost effective against blink stalkers + storm but at least a good amount of broodlords can force the stalkers to blink towards the zerg instead of away from the zerg. Roaches beat Stalkers as long as they get to go toe to toe.

Because it's just that simple!
It's not like 1) there are less Zerg players than the other races and 2) Zerg strategy feels somewhat underdeveloped.

With heaps of zerglings running by all the time. The last game was a tech path loss. This x10000 Mondragon built mutas against an army of ht blink stalker and pheonix... of course he was going to lose, that would be like p complaining that his zealots keep dying to bc's therefore its imba... honestly people watch the games and ACTUALLY think about it before spamming LR's with balance QQ Cruncher played great, the fact that people are surprised he lost to someone who admittedly doesn't play alot of sc2 is astounding, the biased fanboyism is insane.
You're looking at it wrong.
Cruncher made stalker/HT BECAUSE mondragon made mutalisks, so yea obviously infestors would've been good against that. But if he didnt make those mutalisks then cruncher would've just made the deathball like he did the other games, heavy on the colossi.

After seeing the zergs wasted in ro16 I'm starting to think that infestors should be in every zergs midgame plan.

ignoring the big mistakes of cruncher completly
if cruncher wins its more like "lol mondragon played just horrible! his dronesplit in the early was horrible! he made a 4/2 split!!!"

The, "But they had High Templar" mentality is kind of stupid, you have to force shit to work sometimes.
Fungal Growth has 9 range, Feedback has 9 range, cast fungal before they can Feedback you.
It's not fucking impossible, don't just assume that the Zerg should throw his hands up in the air. Often times a composition will involve your opponent having a set of units that crush one half of your army, and another set that crush the other half, but the set that crushes one half is weak to the other half.
You make shit work, Zerg needs a single tech structure to produce units, throw shit in there, he was sitting on 1400 gas by the end of it.

MC, Naniwa, Boxer, Kas. I think I could be happy with that final four .
But Thorzain, Adelscott, Hasuobs, Cruncher. semi-finals :p
All the more reason to chear on Boxer/MC next weekend though! I don't think Naniwa needs any cheering for his match.
