Rarely will you hear a NASL caster say anything bad about a player or game. Decision made? Sure, but not something like Tastosis where they will say, "I have no idea how this guy is in Code S."
So then why is someone who can't be objective a caster? I basically turn off the sound/commentary whenever a Korean plays because of the anti-Korean bias that tool has. I get the impression it's less about him expressing what he wants and more about him trying to create a Bill O'Reilly/Simon Cowell "I can say whatever I want" image.
EDIT: Oh, and for those saying Tastosis are biased, yes they are biased against good/bad players. They aren't biased against nationality, which is what makes Incontrol's comments so petty. Also, his trash talk is like it's coming from a drunk frat guy rather than anything witty or meaningful.

The Good: -Added background music -Fixed the sound levels on the mic -Very open about everything that goes on in a timely manner (This is really nice) -Willing to try out new things to figure out how to best grow the NASL
The Bad: -The choice of streaming method.
I think that after all the complaints it's pretty obvious that Justin.tv isn't the best way to stream to this many people. I find it hard to believe that so many people have bad internet connections. The GSL uses their own player and service (never had a problem with the stream lagging), the TSL uses ustream (never had a problem with stream lag), but I think we can agree that Justin.tv isn't the best option to stream. Now I know that the NASL probably has a season, or multiple season deal to stream with them, but I would highly suggest looking at other services. 2 out of 3 days have been unwatchable for me, and many others. I really hope that this is a issue they take a serious look at.
Other than that I think the NASL is coming along nicely, and given a few seasons to work out the kinks this will be the top SC2 tournament in NA.

That's not really fair, considering that when they were hatin' on the guy he WAS a pretty bad player. He's just gotten a lot better, and they've been the first to proclaim it.

Was it San who had that absolute failure of a forge FE on scrap station where he manner pyloned his Nexus?

Seconded to get attention. Will Naniwa play his intended match with another opponent in the near future, or will there be some odd makeup games (since his opponent technically "won" while Naniwa didn't technically "lose") with Strelok?

The things people discuss after the cast is over is often sigh worthy. -_- Mainly talking about stupid things like caster bias. Pfffft.

Artosis still has yet to swallow that sword though lol.

I don't want to rattle the inControl fanboys too much, especially with inControl being his #1 fan, lining up to defend anything he does. But I don't like the bias. Maybe it's something a better commentator can pull off and it won't bother me as much. I never felt like this listening to Dreamhack, where those 2 guys (DeMuslim and I apologize for not knowing the other guy) were flat out awesome. Also Tastosis is awesome and my personal favorite duo, and despite their flaws (which yes they have some) I probably won't complain about them.
I just think these two could do better, and I have no problem with being in the "haters gonna hate" camp for expressing that. Apollo and demuslim as well as tastosis are more biased than incontrol is in their casts. I think it's YOUR bias that overemphasizes his bias in your perception. I don't expect you to read all my posts, but I addressed the fact that other commentators are biased ALSO. I'm not clueless about this. You can be a good commentator and still be biased. You can be a great commentator and really likable, and your bias will become something the audience will enjoy (eg. BIT BY BIT or CLIIIIDE). Maybe you're biased about my bias about their bias. Your move. That doesn't make any sense. lmao.

Game 3 Nada vs. dde was definitely the best TvT I've seen...
...in at least a week!
But seriously, Terran seems to have the most enjoyable matchups overall of all 3 races. It seems like any TvZ or TvP has the potential to be epic, and TvT is definitely the most enjoyable mirror matchup imo.

Did anyone else see how the game with squirtle result was revealed because they reversed the broadcast order or something? Or did I just mishear things?
EDIT: just looked back and saw tons of people already mentioned it. oops lol

Oh I've seen the series, it's just that my brain has difficulty associating the performances with one another. Which is part of what made the FE fail so good.

Strelok got the win and 2 points, but Naniwa didn't lose any points for the loss (normally he'd be at -2 for a 2-0 loss).

If you've watched the GSL World Championships, you can see that Artosis is definitely biased toward foreign players. In the team showmatch where he was coach it makes perfect sense, and even in the normal matches it's to be expected, but to say that there is no bias is just silly. It's very apparent, but most people don't feel too bothered by it (myself included). I really think it's not a big deal.

I was mistaken. It was the GSL S2 Ro32 against Check. First he did a Forge FE on Delta Quadrant, this is the one where he manner pyloned his nexus. In game 2 on scrap he did another forge FE that was just terrible without manner pyloning himself and check just like walked right through it with roaches or something.
