well ok i take that back then wait a minute...MC never called anyone a fag. mc is still way more manner and plays the "heel" while idra is actually that (except to fellow macro zergs)

I think they are both honest players, which is why I like both. Unfortunately, I don't enjoy MC's playstyle at all, and IdrA, while being honest, is quite smug and haughty sometimes, which are traits that are not likable in anyone. I still can't get over IdrA thinking Fantasy is a noob (at least basing off of what Artosis said a few months ago - not sure if that's the case now, and I doubt he cares about BW anymore).

Q: How do you feel the Koreans will do against the best international players? MC: I think the Korean players will win every match. and I remember something he said after he won the last GSL when he was like he doesn't want to play in the Korean Team, as the Foreign Team will be so weak, that Korea doesn't need him. I dont mind if he says he is the best and he will win against someone, but the way he speaks of other pros, especially the nonkorean ones just shows that he is an arrogant, ignorant person. See, this is what I'm talking about - you're the ignorant one. Maybe you missed the part where MC praised foreigners on his twitter after they actually did well against Koreans in the TSL. You only look at that interview at not at how MC actually reacts when the foreigners do well. Is there actually anything wrong with how MC predicted a Korean sweep? QXC and MorroW did too, IIRC, simply because they both think that Koreans are ahead of the rest of the world as well. Who says MC can't share that opinion just because he's Korean, when there was some pretty strong recent evidence (IEM results) to back it up? But forget about that - like I said, when the foreigners were doing well, MC basically admitted on his twitter, "Whoa, the foreigners are REALLY good, and I need to practice more!" But people will only look at his interviews and immediately hate him just based on those.

That really depends where you put them in the tech tree. Stim from a Dark Shrine is going to take a looooong time to get. Stim from a Cybernetics Core not so long. In all likelyhood, you'd be getting it from a Templar Archives. Likewise Colossus from a Tech'd Factory is going to come out pretty quickly, but make the Armory a requirement and it takes a bit longer. Still, I think Terrans could survive the early game with ultra defensive builds.

Because he looked like an idiot saying it and everyone laughed at him for it yes. Meanwhile he still thinks July is bad while July is about 5 times better than him. I don't mind MC being cocky, he has a fun factor to himself and he's not like Idra. He can back it up because he's actually one of the best players in the world and on top of that when he loses he actually gives credit to his opponents(he even gave credit to July) instead of blaming it on excuses and always bringing up balance.

Why is it that people feel the need to create divisions and bicker with eachother based on what race they happened to pick? The total inability of so many people to be even a little objective is getting pretty tiresome. Ah... the times when protoss so adamantly argued that gateway units were weak... then MC won 2 GSLs with gateway units....

I really think MC could have turtled up, go 3 base, and try to build up as much army supply as possible while waiting for MKP to decide when to attack him. the only way MC would have won with his 2 base attack was if MKP didn't build enough Vikings and MKP had plenty of those.

But people will only look at his interviews and immediately hate him just based on those. That's the kind of selective bias some people have. I remember some comment in the NaDa interview for TSL where one guy was like "wow, finally a Korean who admits that foreigners won't necessarily get rolled over" (just a rough paraphrase). I read that, and thought...hmm, like every Korean thinks they're going dominate, right? Like NesTea, mvp, Boxer, FD, etc. didn't just all praise foreigners left and right in their interviews? Are TLO, Morrow, qxc, Haypro, IdrA, etc. (who ALL predicted Korean domination, btw) biased towards Koreans? On the topic of MC however, I just think many people aren't impressed his play, just his results. Perhaps some of these people are using that excuse as a facade to hide their secret dislike for MC as a player, just as some Koreans are perhaps being disingenuous when stating their views on foreigners. Either way, who cares? We're all biased to some extent as fans (and yes, other progamers can be fans as well).
