Personally I think he would have lost either way. But it would have been close.
It was pretty hilarious though lol Huh? Did you see the replay? HuK had almost no stalkers, several sentries, some zealots and several collossi. Collossi die to both the corruptors and the broodlords, stalkers die to the broodlings (and certainly can't kill that many broodlords) while the zerglings mop up the rest. HuK even admitted in the next game IdrA had that won. It wouldn't have been close. Were we watching the same replay??? Huk had atleast 15-20 stalkers (out of position yes, but with blink) and 5-10 sentries. IdrA had no overseers so he couldn't be sure exactly which colossi/voids were real (assuming he realized atleast some were hallucinations). Good chance his corruptors wouldn't be focusing the right units. Especially since he clearly thought all the voids were real (or else, why would he quit?). If he stayed his corruptors would have focused down the voids while his broods died with the colossi ripping apart all the broodlings/zerglings...
And no I'm not saying that is absolutely what would have happened. I am saying there is a very good chance that would have happened. I don't think it was anywhere near as clear that idra was going to win as people are saying.
And of course Huk is going to say IdrA weren't loss. He was clearly trying to piss him off...

HuK even admitted in the next game IdrA had that won. It wouldn't have been close. Huk had over 20 stalkers left against something like 8 brood lords... He also had numerous colossus to 1-shot broodlings to negate most of the broodlord dps. Most of broodlord DPS is done immediately upon striking the ground. The broodlings are icing on the cake. Also HuK's stalker count was severely depleted. Not enough to handle 8 brood lords. Man Day9 and Wheat even broke it down right after the end of the replay. Go listen to it again.
Brood lords do like a measly 8 DPS without the broodlings. That's LESS dps than a stalker does.
Day9 is not always right, like the queen energy lines from yesterday.

How do you get to the replays off the MLG website?

Did they show any of his games? I just woke up and caught the Idra v Huk series, then sifted through the MLG site and noticed that Naniwa 4-0'd his group.

Can someone explain this? Is this part of the 1.3 replay feature? Why does the game just look like it's paused? How do we even know who won if it doesn't show this line (and the one that says _____ is victorious)? If the replay is from the player that leaves it doesn't show. Watch your own replays and watch. What the hell, they didn't get the replay from the observer? But yeah that makes sense. Thanks. Yeah, this is the biggest WTF.
I think there WAS no observer in most of these games. That was the indication that Day9 gave while live-casting HuK vs. Kiwikaki. He implied the source of the lag was the extra observers (him). The HuK vs. IdrA match wasn't shown live, so it's likely that the majority of the games played had no third party and the replay had to be taken from one of the participants.
edit: and checking match history, there is no observer showing up in those matches.

I've been hearing rumors that someone on 4chan is DDoSing Dallas today because of his (her?) general ******ish nature. Also someone is apparently openly proclaiming responsibility and strangely enough, accurately predicting the lag times. Can anyone confirm this?

Okay, so allining is the way to go? Thanks. In case you haven't noticed, Dimaga hasn't been in a major tournament for months, and is getting hyped because he beat some Koreans in a show match. July just got rolled out of World Finals because people realized simple his trat is You're right, Dimaga beating some of the best players in the world and July Zerg getting to the GSL Code-S final clearly shows how inferior both are to Idra... God only knows why I debate with these retarded Idra fanboys. So you're saying Idra has never beat "some of the best players in the world"? I can see the argument for JulyZerg, but your Idra hating is pretty juvenile. I don't hate Idra, I hate his fanboys who attempt to demean the achievements of other Zergs in an embarassing attempt to inflate the achievements of their idol. Understand? But tehre are almost zero achievements from other zergs. You're calling Dimaga's run in korea this week proof that zerg is fine at the highest level? He beat 1 terran in 1 game and 2 zergs. That proves nothing.. Feel free to ignore July and Nestea's achievements in GSL. God these zerg players like to whine.
LosirA is looking pretty strong too

Both talked so enforcing the rule would be stupid. Imagine what the response would be if either or both players got DQ for that.

From games won it should be: Ret - Qxc - Haypro According to the MLG site Haypro actually lost to qxc so he's 0-4. =/ Whoa whoa what? I'm gonna have to double check some stuff, because in the updates from earlier, it was 2-1 Haypro > qxc.

Sen, JulyZerg, Nestea GSL WC Spoilers [spoiler]Sen got rocked by MKP. JulyZerg got owned by MVP. Nestea got beat by Dimaga Success, you say? The way I look at it, July was the only Zerg having moderate success because he came out with a new style, but now that everyone has figured it out, it's back to being owned every game. [spoiler] But, clearly it's the skill of the players, not the race. We just have to wait for better players to play zerg and then we'll see if balance is an issue. Clearly. Why can't Zerg have such skilled players like Cruncher, or HuK. Eh, I could go on about this argument, but I wasn't talking about just this tournament or the players involved. But awesome fact: world ranked protoss forget about chrono boost lategame lol.
?? Lategame protoss (aka 3-5 bases) have more chronoboost than they know what to do with.

They have both TLO-Painuser and Haypro-Qxc results listed wrongly on their pool play page It seems like everything is going wrong for them today.
