1. No Pausing a Game without Referee’s permission. If an issue arises that requires a Pause, Players should contact their Referee immediately. Referees may approve or deny a Player’s request to Pause the Game. Pausing a Game without Referee’s permission will result in a Warning. Each subsequent Warning that a Player receives will result in a Forfeit of the Game (See Gameplay Rule #18).
2. Players may not look at an opposing Player’s Monitor or projected screen.
3. Players may not chat in-game unless they are engaging in pre-game sportsmanship or surrendering the Game.
4. Players must disable Toast Notifications in the Battle.net options.
5. Players must set their status to Busy.
6. Breaking any of Gameplay Rules #2-5 will result in a Forfeit of the Game.
lolwut? So what about those rules anyway Rofl so as the initiator Huk Forfeits the Match, and Idra Wins by Default. i can see the grin on his face already. This is gonna make a very interesting story line tomorrow. I don't see Scoots or Idra bringing this up with MLG because the match didn't change the results in the group play. Looking forward to it regardless
Except Idra also told Huk to fuck off, meaning it's on both of them....

I missed the last couple hours, could you recommend some Naniwa matches?

I hate Ronald too. He's worse than Pedobear.

lolwut? So what about those rules anyway Yeah, I read this the other day. The game should go to Idra. Rules are rules. Especially if they enforce sportsmanship.
Why would it go to Idra? He broke the rules as well. If he (Idra) wanted the rule to be enforced, he should have immediately notified the ref of a violation and let the refs take care of it. Saying "fuck you" instead makes him just as guilty, so he obviously didn't care about that rule being enforced against Huk.

it would help if we saw some of his games.. the giant fuckup that was the 10 hour delay kinda forced their hand on what matches they could show us =/..
going into the tourny, i was dissapointed to see tyler not do so well, but i gotta hand it to painuser. the man is so damn consistent in every MLG he goes to. currently in top 4 right now!

Naniwa HAS been stomping dallas BUT after watching some replays... It has been a lot of cheese and 4 gates. a few macro games here n there but nothing mindblowing

The colossi would have ripped through the broodlings. Those broodlords had minimal ground support (30 lings? dead in 5 seconds with those 6 colossi with upgrades). And IdrA was out of money. Personally I think he would have lost either way. But it would have been close.
It was pretty hilarious though lol Huh? Did you see the replay? HuK had almost no stalkers, several sentries, some zealots and several collossi. Collossi die to both the corruptors and the broodlords, stalkers die to the broodlings (and certainly can't kill that many broodlords) while the zerglings mop up the rest. HuK even admitted in the next game IdrA had that won. It wouldn't have been close. Huk had over 20 stalkers left against something like 8 brood lords... He also had numerous colossus to 1-shot broodlings to negate most of the broodlord dps.
Most of broodlord DPS is done immediately upon striking the ground. The broodlings are icing on the cake. Also HuK's stalker count was severely depleted. Not enough to handle 8 brood lords.
Man Day9 and Wheat even broke it down right after the end of the replay. Go listen to it again.

IdrA and HuK are (were?) friends all of last year (they were both in Korea for a while together even though HuK never qualified for Code A/S until he got a free pass through Code B).
I hope their friendship survives this ridiculousness!!!
i dont think they were ever friends. maybe acquaintances. You must not have been here during the beta when Idra specifically said that all Huk can do is 4 gate.

Day 1: shit hit the fan, MLG responded and worked to get a stream up and running asap. Day closes and they work their asses off to make sure... Day 2: Starts off better but then everything starts exploding. MLG tries to handle the problem themselves and then ISP breaks down. MLG calls for satellite which will be there tomorrow. Halo and CoD kids having fun on LAN. Starcraft II and all of the 256+ players cry in frustration due to lag. More shit blows up, and continues to blow up throughout the day. All MLG can do is cry and pray for the damn satellite or Blizzard to make a LAN edition specifically for tournament organizers.
I hope that Day 3 is better, I won't be getting a refund or opting for the free Columbus pass. What I do want, is the people who told all of the organizers "it'll be fine, our connection can handle it" or "we've got it fixed for sure" to be torn a new asshole. I partly blame MLG, but they're the middleman, they get screwed over when shit breaks beyond their control.
I'm rooting for you MLG! Don't give up the fight!
