It looks from the discussion that the koreans handily beat the foreigners. We had a thread dedicated to the korean reaction to the World Vs. Korea team showmatch where the foreigners did pretty well. I wonder what the Korean reaction was to these matches last night? I wonder if all the respect that the foreigners got has since been put down a notch. Or maybe all that respect was only in the TL fan community, i don't really know. Interesting results for sure anyhow. | ||

Anyways, sad to see that the only foreigners advancing are the ones from the foreigner vs foreigner match. It looked like the Koreans were well-prepared this time, and I fear for Dimaga and TT1. | ||

I am masters protoss here... PvZ is my worst MU. PvT is my best MU. PvP is at 65% win rate. I think I only lost PvT twice in masters league, due to me making a most retarded mistake. WingEn has a great point. | ||

As T, you can't go 3-rax after a fast expand because the MC-style expand into 6-gate just crushes it. So you have to go 4-rax. But then you're tech is delayed, so you don't have vikings/medvacs out in sufficient number if the toss goes for a straight (basically naked) 1-gate expand into colossi. And with the nerf to stim, it's really tough to get a good timing rush out that can punish such a build. As we saw, by the time Jinro's stim was done, there was already a colossus out plus sentries. Perhaps you just need to skip stim/shields and go straight to factory --> medvacs and get the upgrades later? That's a very late stim, though. I look forward to someone finding a solution. I hope it'll be Jinro, 'cause he looked awesome with those shades. :-) | ||

I still reckon Dimaga could win the whole thing... unless MC makes it to the finals. I think beating him in PvZ is a bit of a tall order right now. At the minute I'm thinking it's a toss up (har har) between MC, MVP and Dimaga. | ||

I suppose it can stall into a lategame transition into the speed buffed BC's, though we've never gotten that far... shame there haven't been many quality TvP's in the GSL. Hoping MVP will give us some this tournament | ||
