This is the entire basis of me going mech, it lets you control space and its pretty good. Really fast phoenix builds are kinda sketchy and well timed carriers but thats about it. If you watch game 2, you'd notice there was a point in time where Jinro had about 15 marines and a Marauder, and Anypro had maybe 2 sentries and stalkers. That was his timing window, playing passively allowed Anypro to beeline straight towards Colossus, guaranteed loss from there. I was never a fan of no-gas fast expansion builds against Protoss, ever since Jinro was crushed by MC way back in GSL3, I've felt it has too many weaknesses. It's crushed outright by voidray zealot / 4gate sentry way too often. The proceeding transition into bio dies to the dreaded forcefield push (before stim), while an earlier mech transition leaves you with not enough for early warpgate pressure. My favorite build is something that uses marauders/conc shell, straight into expo and tanks. You take map control momentarily, denying scouting for a while and clearing the map of any hidden probes/pylons. Good example is set 1 of Alicia vs Supernova http://www.gomtv.net/2011gslsponsors2/vod/62461 Problem is you dont know what the protoss is doing, he saw 2 gateway robo expand. he could add 4 gates and make an immortal or something and if you try to attack there you get absolutely crushed and game is over. Or if he has 3 gateways you just split half the marines and warp in stalkers and maybe have an immortal and again hes owned. Its so risky to attack early vs P.

it seems that MC is the clear cut best player in SC2 at the moment
doesn't even have a matchup weakness
makes PvZ look broken. supremely confident in PvT and incredibly good at PvP.

Not quite sure how you can say that when he got 2-0ed twice early in the FXO2, out first round in GSTL, and destroyed by WhiteRa recently. MorroW completely outplayed him, but made the fatal mistake of picking Zerg.

Dang it, unlucky ? Or the Koreans played for realz this time
Wanted to see Jinro and Sen advance, gahh
well at least there's Dimaga and TT1 heheh. But San's PvZ is pretty good =O

then who do you think is the best SC2 player at the moment?
and people really need to stop pulling the "this Zerg outplayed this Terran/Protoss" card while that same Zerg ends up losing to the Terran/Protoss player
also, WhiteRa got lucky that MC went defensive 4 gate instead of super standard aggressive 4 gate.
can't say much about MC's FXOpen results. shit happens? =D

Obviously, so he has stuff then what? You walk back and wasted a scan and protoss is even farther ahead. As for the guy talking about scouting the front and then scanning the main. Good luck. You better hope they have all their buildings in a nice little area ( the area you scanned too btw) and that they magically let you see their entire army composition with your front scout.
Bio is just a bad way to play vs current P
Scanning to scout isnt very effective early game.

White-Ra didnt destroy MC at all. He made a lot of assumptions during that match and was lucky for them to be correct. Sure, his micro was pretty good, but if MC didnt go for blink stalkers but for 4gate, white-ra would have lost in a very one sided way.
And yes, MC had four gateways, but he only used 3 of them, having the 4th as a defensive one against a real 4gate.
MC: Blink stalkers, with 4th gateway to stop a possible 4gate rush by white-ra. Solid opening.
White-Ra: 100% blind counter to blink stalkers. MC went blink stalkers, their overall mechanics are very similar--> white-ra wins.

Was a disappointing day, but I totally saw it coming. Ah well, hopefully we get to see some good games at some point. ^^

Morrow got destroyed, ahahah, what are you talking about. You are outplaying no one if you lose. White Ra had a nice build against him, and sniped him, that's all. Give him a best of 3 and he gets smashed, like he did against San. And for the Fxopen, shit happens. If you think that ClOud is better than Mc, you live in fantasy land.
So much for TSL3 anyway. Sen got seriously manhandled. Sad stuff seriously.

I honestly have zero idea what MKP did wrong? Did he insult anyone? Did he even jokingly insult anyone like Moon? I don't even know why you even brought Moon up in the first place.

Ugh, these were pretty disappointing games to watch. I don't know, I'm not a fan of watching any games of PvX anymore. There seems to be no game play evolution in PvX. We've been seeing 4gates and colossus deathballs since beta. Add on the fact that there have been no unique styles that have come from the z/ts fighting against protoss means it's getting pretty bland from a spectator pov.
I'm probably going to skip all the protoss matchups to save myself some disappointment and boredom.

holding up a paper that says "Dokdo is Korean territory" is not in anyway racist. whether it is appropriate to make a political statement in a Starcraft 2 match is up for debate.

GSL World Championship is played up as Korea versus the world. Dokdo is the place where most GOM Starcraft 2 games are played at. so it's not a far stretch to call Dokdo as being Korean territory.
So someone making a sign like that of one of the most controversial things between Korea and Japan is okay because most sc2 games are played there which obviously means it's Korean territory?
I honestly doubt the comment was aimed at the foreigners attending the tournament considering the recent happenings between the two countries

Colossi are boring. ok you are right. HT are OP, well now we wont see them. Ando now you are telling that gateway units are boring to watch: What shoul P players do ? Mass Phoenix or maybe play with only probes ??

I can't believe the amount of QQing in here. Where were you just a couple days ago in the team games when Zerg dominated? Or GSL 1, 2 & 4 when protoss was shut out of top 4? Seems which ever race wins for the day is OP. From Protoss perspective I remember the drought and it's cool to see MC so dominating after so many protoss players found themselves struggling.
