Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied. Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't. |

I think the bigger issue is people are misinterpreting what I'm saying. I'm not trying to say American fans want to only see an American tournament and want the rest of the world to burn. Let's put it this way. Given the choice between some north american player like Slush vs. some korean that most americans have never seen play like Bomber, the american will choose to want to see Slush play. Support the home town kid if you've never heard/seen the foreigner. For that reason, the best/most popular koreans will get in. But the majority won't. It's not very hard to misinterpret what you said. You obviously have very little respect or knowledge of the US and should probably stop talking, you just look like more and more of an asshat. What is wrong with wanting to see north American representation in the NAsl? You don't see EU and KR tournaments flooded with NA players... So far NASL has been the most accepting to foreigner players, already having half the announced players being from EU or KR. Before you let your natural hate of Americans come flying out, take a second and actually think. The most absurd thing is that Slush is french Canadian.....we have nothing in common with the American culture....

Panzergeneral GoOdy and The Beast From The East are missing

ClouD is a top 15 player, darkforce a top 20 player in europe.

I think something that has slipped under the radar because of his finish at IEM is that, Moon isn't in code A anymore. Moon lost in the First round of Code A last season dropping him to code B, time for the speculation to begin, to insure no conflict is it possible that we are looking at Only Koreans not currently in televised GSL matches? In the should the GSL have the top Koreans or not thread I was pretty adamant that I wanted to see the best in the world, but I guess this works in the Sense that again if I WanT to see them I can watch the GSL and there are still Koreans in Code B worth watching.
We know that oGs, SlayerS, TSL and StarTale applied here are some code B players from those teams:
Bomber
Squirtle
YuGiOh
Min
Cezanne
JookTo
GuineaPig
PuMa
other notables from teams not known to have applied:
Seed
Yonghwa
Obviously this is pure speculation, to be Honest I myself find it a bit silly because if you aren't going to get top name Koreans I think that any NA/EU player would be a bigger draw. However if the current Code A/S schedule does collide it looks like there are still some players WhO could defiantly play at the level of the NASL. Lastly I'd add, if this crazy theory is correct, I think it would serve BoxeR more to play in the NASL then in code A, he has the Money and the name recognition in Korea where code A gets him nothing he doesn't already have.

#1 NASL site is awefull - when i reached it i went back to google and looked for other hits cause i couldnt belive this is really a site , after avilio being Number 1 in votes i refuse to go back there. i did better job at a site for UT clan 5 years ago.
i would like to see a proffesional site by a decent designer for a tournament with 400k prize , dont underestimate the package . if thats not possible a forum in TL like TSL would be much better then the current solution. if thats not possible a blogpost / worldpress site would be better.
#2 the announcment of the players - seriously ? i really appreciate the dramma with the revealing , but if you do it do it correctly. a very good example of doing it right is TSL , the players , their background and reasons they were choosen - just the names is not good enough ... and better just skip this then doing it half assed. pictures videos or even just use incontrol hype talent with voice announcments would be a very welcome addition. transparency will go very long way with the croud , if you see again TSL with the award winning decision of boxer , thats the right way of doing things - and look how that hard decision recieved. explain your decisions.
#3 the players revealed - i believe nasl saving the best to last , i dont agree with that . you need people to be excited from the start - keep the revealed group ballanced.
#4 the players choices - there was a 100 page + thread about it somewhere with a nice pole. i think its fair to say the vast majority will be very disapointed with only a few medicore koreans allowed , i will not go there for redundency , just look at the 50k+ viewers on korea vs world matches in TSL.
TL , DR its just very important to keep the production value for everything you do , and not only the main part , look at successfull companys like blizzard or apple and their finish on their product , the pre show is very important , i do hope that the NASL will show improvment on thier preshow look on TSL again for a good example
thank you for the long read, and goolduck with the really nice project.
Very well written. I agree 100%.

I feel exactly the opposite. GSL has lost a lot of appeal to me because nearly every Korean seems interchangable. Of course there are some standout names but most of them are just a name to me. Euros and Americans with a few selected Koreans is exactly what i want to see. Every Korean seems interchangeable? Tell me how these uh . . vvv(noname) and vt(noname) and req(noname) set themselves apart from each other. Even a supposed "top player" like Painuser just isn't that good . . . Lol, the Korean players have much much more distinct playstyles and personalities than most of these North American no namers. the more of the participants share the same attributes(like the same country) the boring it gets for me aswell. the more diversity you got the more people can pick a players side and feel enthusiastic for him. this even applies more for the regular guy who doesnt care much if one player is e.g. 5% better than a other one or even doesnt see it in that detail. but if the player is from the same country and has success thats already a big part to relate to and get hyped about. so diversity ftw. That might be a problem when these North American nonames are invited because no one's even heard of them before. Hardly anyone actually follows these small NA tournaments compared to stuff like . . . GSL or even IEM.
I just hope they invite some more Koreans. Only Moon isnt enough for me too. There need to be some more or it has to less hype. But the list isnt fully revealed yet.
The only thing that bites me a bit regarding this is the lag issue online(one difference compared to GSL or IEM) but obviously you cant do much about it.

What? they've picked 12 non-americans and 8 americans (actually just as many euro's as usa people) so far, so you might want to check again.
