Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied. Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't. |

Then again, he recieved a ton of votes, so it would seem like a good choice to include him. you do knwo there are another 30 people to be announced... you shouldn't be like "im so disapointed artosis wasn't announced in the first 15, im so pissed he was announced 35th" we don't know who is and who isn't...
we can only really comment on who is in, and for the most part I think its a good list... like 3 - 4 that I would of liked someone else to take their spots, but hey.

Group A: Tired of seeing interchangeable koreans and think the GSL is enough for that.
Group B: Want to see the most skilled players anyone (Koreans).
I gotta say I'm with group A. GSL and GSTL are enough for me. Time for something new at a reasonable time of day. I don't see how it would be "new", when it would be the exact same NA/EU players that play at MLG, IEM regionals, BDL, EPS, go4sc2, craftcup, etc. Your dream NASL already exists, in MANY incarnations.
Yeah this is my feeling on the subject as well, there are a huge amount of tournaments outside of korea where you can see these players every day.
I'm certainly disappointed with this first release of players, they're all good players but i was hoping for the best ones with a few exceptions of really popular guys like boxer.

It's not that I want to see Koreans, I want to see Koreans vs. Foreigners. Those are the most exciting games. :D Fair enough. Well atleast we'll get a bunch of that as each Korean will have to face everyone in their group. Each Korean? you mean Moon. The 1 Korean (but not even top Korean)...... out of 20. There will obviously be more... You can bet than Boxer, Nada, MC will get invited if not a few more... saving the best for last. No way the only korean they invite will be Moon lol

Euros and Americans with a few selected Koreans is exactly what i want to see.
Every Korean seems interchangeable? Tell me how these uh . . vvv(noname) and vt(noname) and req(noname) set themselves apart from each other. Even a supposed "top player" like Painuser just isn't that good . . .
Lol, the Korean players have much much more distinct playstyles and personalities than most of these North American no namers.

Players I'm still really hoping for when I check the announcements every morning:
Tyler White-Ra Nada July
If any of them are excluded I shall be a sad panda indeed.

With CrunCher? Naniwa?! Really? One of the most volatile and temperamental players of the scene... Not jumping on the "let's make the other 26 remaining players koreans" bandwagon but so far, NASL is far from fulfilling their "Star" League name. so you don´t want one of the best or propably even the best european protoss in the nasl just because he is "volatile and temperamental" but want to have a star-league with the best players? makes no sense to me best protoss in Europe, L-O-L So, I'm guessing you have no idea of Naniwa's Wc3 career. Plain and simple, Naniwa would insult and bad manner opponents in the biggest wc3 leagues there were and that he participated in, he was constantly banned from esl and earned plenty of PP due to foul language in top level matches, so no, I wouldn't like to see a guy that can easily make sponsors flee because he has anger issues.
Do you support the inclusion of IdrA in this league?

updated my post in page 5, not sure about sen's video so if anyone can confirm that'd be great

I'm sure that Nada will be in it... If moon got the nod I don't see why BW legends won't be in it

I suspect they may be drawn later on. Most of the names announced in this draw seem pretty anticipated to be honest.
Plus, it's awesome they invited Moon.

the more of the participants share the same attributes(like the same country) the boring it gets for me aswell. the more diversity you got the more people can pick a players side and feel enthusiastic for him. this even applies more for the regular guy who doesnt care much if one player is e.g. 5% better than a other one or even doesnt see it in that detail. but if the player is from the same country and has success thats already a big part to relate to and get hyped about.
so diversity ftw.

Is it even possible to get an invite if you didn't submit an application video? I didn't see one for Sen in the thread about the application VODs but perhaps it was just never posted there. If that's the case there could be a lot of sad people if there is no MVP or Nestea application VODs to be found. I personally hope to see Nestea and July in this. They are my 2 favorite Korean players right now.

If they somehow leave out Boxer, Nada etc. then this tournament will be epic fail.
But I suspect they announced 1 (Moon) early on so that there is no immediately WTFNOKOREANS? outlash. He's there so we know they are willing to invite koreans. The big names will come towards the end for sure. He's not the very first name listed by accident.

That might be a problem when these North American nonames are invited because no one's even heard of them before.
Hardly anyone actually follows these small NA tournaments compared to stuff like . . . GSL or even IEM.

I really hope that the NASL people would grow a pair of balls and provide some entertaining games between top Koreans and foreigners like TSL and FXOpen have . . . even if the top Koreans medal sweep, which they probably will.

Who is Darkforce?? I think Darkforce and cloud are the only ones I disagree with the rest should be in there.
