Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied. Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't. |

Plain and simple, Naniwa would insult and bad manner opponents in the biggest wc3 leagues there were and that he participated in, he was constantly banned from esl and earned plenty of PP due to foul language in top level matches, so no, I wouldn't like to see a guy that can easily make sponsors flee because he has anger issues.

I don't know what exactly Sponsors' stances on this is, but for me every big league needs some of these guys to make it interesting
And apart from that, he really is one of Europe's best Protoss. No doubt about it.

But you say he's American? Well, he's my new favorite then! I hope he's got 2 white parents.... then i could really get into it! Me and pretty much everyone else that has followed NA SC2 (MLGs mostly) do know who he is and have seen him compete. Which is the point.
Yes, he does occupy space and time while not being Korean. GG

guys guys guys, it's only 40% of the players, plenty of spots left for everyones favorite!

The bigger debates will rage once we see who is actually left out.

OP should update his list to include the next 5 people.

Still no mention of any top Korean.

He has a questionable ethnic history... they are looking into it. He may have spent too much time amongst the Koreans... he may be impure! (jk)
He deserves to be in on a number of levels..... but he'll probably actually get in so that InControl can make up jokes about him all day long... that his best shot right now.

I think the bigger issue is people are misinterpreting what I'm saying. I'm not trying to say American fans want to only see an American tournament and want the rest of the world to burn. Let's put it this way. Given the choice between some north american player like Slush vs. some korean that most americans have never seen play like Bomber, the american will choose to want to see Slush play. Support the home town kid if you've never heard/seen the foreigner. For that reason, the best/most popular koreans will get in. But the majority won't.
It's not very hard to misinterpret what you said. You obviously have very little respect or knowledge of the US and should probably stop talking, you just look like more and more of an asshat. What is wrong with wanting to see north American representation in the NAsl? You don't see EU and KR tournaments flooded with NA players... So far NASL has been the most accepting to foreigner players, already having half the announced players being from EU or KR. Before you let your natural hate of Americans come flying out, take a second and actually think.

Was it a random draw(other than splitting teammates) or were players "placed" in the divisions by staff? I'm curious. Probably placed them or a combination of both. They asked questions like "who are your biggest rivals?" in the application videos. Which leads me to believe that they will intentionally match a few players against each other. Atleast I hope they do. I'd love to see some Zenio/Drewbie vs. IdrA grudge matches lol
Those grudge matches should be left to the grand finals. If one of the doesn't manage to reach the grand finals, then it's clear who won and if both don't manage to reach the grand finals, who cares.

Where can I find Sen's application video? He's still in fnatic right?
NASL Video thread isn't updated (i guess) :/

I mean it's great to have a foreigner tournament and all, but I don't think I'm gonna watch anyones beside the Koreans, a couple top Europeans, and KawaiiRice.

Well, it's not worth it for nearly any American to come over to Europe and play a tournament with the level of competition that's going on here. It's very likely a NA player will pay more for the flight then he will win in the tournament.
