Sure every one was super excited to have him back and in all honesty, he was one of the better players in the league even at his age and lack of practice, but it just wasn't MJ really returning to the sport. Anyways, don't worry too much about Boxer guys, remember Zenio was (and arguably still is) a Code S player. This was just an unfortunate season with many high level players in the up/down matches.
At least Boxer gave REALLY entertaining games.
I wasn't even following the scene back when Boxer was dominating, but I still feel it. Whenever he's in a game, it's somehow different from any other game. I can't imagine how it felt for people to watch Boxer back in his days of glory.
But I can always hope he comes back. I kept the faith alive when all he was doing was losing to offline qualifiers, Code A is a joke. Slayers_Boxer forever!
I know what you mean, and I think I know one of the biggest reasons why you may feel so... have you noticed his micro? I can't stress this enough... has anyone seen the insane amount of micro in each battle? It might not look much to us, but that's because we're spectators and the game moves much more slowly for us than the actual player. If you look back at Game 1 vs Zenio ( because I don't have a season pass  ) and you look at every one of his Mech pushes, he splits all his Thors in about a second. Also, at first, I felt that he had bad Hellion micro; in the first big push, I was wondering why his Hellions weren't in front to burn up some Ling/Bling, thinking that caused him to lose the battle. But it seems he did that intentionally, apparently prioritizing the Hellions over the Thors. (One reason why they may be more important is because they can actually retreat.) Later when you see more engagements, notice how his hellions weave through his Thors, while running away from the stream of Ling/Bling. So beautiful to see this kind of intricate play.
Boxer is the first one I've seen that split his Thors, similar to spreading Siege Tanks or splitting Marines, and the first I've seen of this kind of micro.
On the other hand, I would have liked to see something more effective on Terminus. Despite Boxer's excellent play, the map was too big like Tastosis said. I wonder if it would have been effective to have 1 thor on the ramp of the empty mains, with a couple SCVs behind it to repair? Lings would have little surface area and the SCV repair works well against the low DPS Roach. Also would have been cool to see 3 barracks wall offs at the empty naturals, with a couple siege tanks behind to defend ^_^. Honestly I don't understand why he didn't use Siege Tanks. He could have secured the rest of the map much more easily, especially in that first big push since he had so much time. And I wonder how effective Medivacs would be to heal SCVs repairing Thors, while also micro'ing and transporting the Thors xD.
Edit: Jaedong is a bonjwa? I remember hearing complaints that Flash was a bonjwa while Jaedong was not. And btw I'm talking about the official bonjwa status that Kespa gives, not personal opinion xD

Also did you guys notice those Ghosts that were building? I think he was going to do some NUKING ACTION too!!! Eff you Zenio, why didn't you just let the Emperor win and have him owe you something ^_^. Instead he had to cancel the Ghosts when the Nydus Worms started going rampant. I actually hoped the game would crash somehow, since there were 8 Worms xD.

I was scared that Boxer might be knocked into Code A. However, I think today he showed that he is in fact mother fucking Boxer... I have no worries about him, he will be back where he belongs :D
