Both of them are ex BW players, and whatever mvp can do, July has the potential to do it eleven times better. Given that he might not be reaching that potential yet, but he is by no means a "lesser player" just because mvp had a great run until a few weeks ago or so. Besides, July 2-0ing in a direct confrontation makes that comment even more absurd. Agreed on july having the potential to be a monster. But I dont think July 2-0ing MVP is a direct conformation that July is on MVPs level or is better quite yet. Especially given the circumstances of the games. If July dominates the GSL 5 as hard as MVP did, then he deserves the recognition. After last nights games, I currently doubt July will dominate. His game against MC was horrible, bad micro, late expansions, bad encounters, having multiple obs reveal his every move.

I agree. I don't like the code A format. There should be group stages. Good performance Hayder!

I definitely agree with your points Plexa, Haypro has definitely gotten some bad luck in his tournies. I do have a question though : Was there a reason Haypro didn't leave Korea for Assembly even though Huk/Ret went? Or was he just not invited? I feel like if Haypro is hitting a roadblock in essentially the hardest SC2 tournament, he might consider choosing a different theater to have more success. IE: Even Idra is leaving GSL to return to the US when he was a Code S GSL player.

Maybe I'm just wrong about Masters in Korea, I guess you don't need to really have indepth game knowledge to survive there.
