Interesting... btw. It's not THAT wrong. so stop the hating. July did the same thing against MVP just yesterday, eco destroyed into timing push into win. Please learn the game before you just shit on a NEW commentator. give her time. tasteless is doing this for ages and he isn't that great either. Effectiveness isn't in question, definition is in question.
But her definition is not that off, by some other standards she is right, even.

Interesting... When your minerals run out is a timing. Therefore, when you push it is a timing push. When you hit 200/200 is a timing. When an upgrade finishes is a timing and so on so on. Dont try to make fun of someone when you dont know anything yourself. you must be horrible when you play starcraft 2
16 Posts man. And what a meaningless sentence to begin with..

Interesting conclusion. How did you derive it?

...Sigh.
http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Timing_Attack
A timing attack, or timing push, is an attack that is done during a certain period or moment in time that results in an increased advantage compared to attacking outside that window. The time period in which an attack is stronger than outside the time period is commonly referred to as a timing window. The best timing windows are ones where both player-dependent and opponent-dependent factors coincide (e.g. your upgrade completed, but your opponent's has not. see picture to the right).
The only thing that was close to correct from you was the upgrade part... for a certain timing window advantage.
And it seems like Ganzi's doing the ol' anti-Zerg mass marines/siege tanks/medivacs with a spice of drops.
And Haypro's going ling/bling/muta.

Man i feel bad for artosis, hes pretty much been sick year around. Is it the weather or something?

Haypro has +2 melee going already, the Terran hasn't started any upgrades.
|
+2 melee on the way for Haypro, don't see an ebay for T yet, could turn out well...

A timing attack would be in my opinion when you set in your mind a very specific time/situation when you want to attack, and work your way up to there. Whether this be in an initial build or in an mid/late game situation, it doesn't matter.
Edit: However, Liquipedia obviously states it differently... but we don;t all know that by heart

Talk about the game, ladies.

If he attacks when his minerals run out because that is his last way to win then yes, that is a timing attack.
If he attacks a minute earlier with no noticeable timing then its just an attack.

Looking good for Haypro right?
Could be a problem if it stays like 3 base vs 3 base for a while though. Would be hard to take a 4th if Terran starts dropping all over the place.
|
I think a Terran should build a LOT of turrets on that map Flash style.
|
ahahaha damn haypro fighting :>
|
cmon haypro take a fourth!!!
|
Haypro getting another expansion and making muta's
|
why did ganzi load up?
no banelings in sight, he couldve done a very cost efficient fight there.

I think he plays hard. As much as progamers does. That is why he has awesome insight and analysis, easily the best in the world. But between casting code A and S for 7 hours a day, providing us with awesome youtube contents, taking care of his many pets, i imagine he is not getting much rest.

Haypro double expanding again.
