Please remember that these threads are for talking about the games. People who cannot watch rely on these threads for information. If the thread is diluted with balance/caster/lack of snacks whine, it makes it useless for those who want to read it.

Thanks a lot!

Oh well, one less exciting player to watch :|
Hope July makes up for knocking MVP out with sick games coming up... TBH his games aren't exciting at all = = Not impressed (yet) with him in SC2

Clearly, Terran is overpowered, when an average Zerg knocks out the world number 1 player and Terran.

Great play by JulyZerg, exploiting MVPs builds in both games. I thought it was a bit of genius for July to pick MC, but apparently he can knock out MVP on his own.

Get a fucking clue please.

Labbe Calm Down. Fair point made about July - in the first game, MVP thought July was gonna expand/drone up, but July went for an all-in, in the second game, MVP's build has probably not been so all in-ed by a zerg whether on ladder or in practice for a while... July must've known this and used it to his advantage.

btw huge risks taken in both games for July

July did the same 'cheese' in game 1 and transitioned out of it and managed to win in a longer game. Even if this failed, I would've been interested to see if he could make it work again.. he just finds great timings for his attacks in these two games.

Actually now it could be easy for Jinro to take the title as long as he dodges MC.

Holy shit what an upset! O.O Probably the majority of people here thought MC and MVP could cruise through this group 2-0 ezpz. I'm happy that Tushin is showing results, but MVP going out in ro32 is heartbreaking.

Not even a interesting kill. I mean July has been sooo average in SC2... Well hope he makes something out of this, since else imo he kind of just killed this season(ok ok mvp killed it for loosing, however one spins it).

He lost 2-1 to MC then qualified for Code-S on his first try in Code-A
Totally average

July's aggressive style will pay off a lot of time.

Sloppy play by MVP. Really, July got very lucky on both busts. Amusing to see top Terran being knocked out by a risky allin because of a few small errors.

First game he knows that July is aggressive and is using banelings. The final attack should have had much less success if he had just sieged his tanks.

Second game MVP knows bane bust is coming, doesnt react properly, is lifting barracks without a scout in front of his ramp, and is also going 2rax cc instead of a safer build against an allin.

AN AVERAGE ZERG?
LOL

In SC1? No.
In SC2? Yeah.

People really need to stop using players' fame from SC1 as a basis for how good they are at SC2. Yeah July was an amazing zerg in SC1, but he's really not accomplished much of anything yet in SC2. Same with Boxer and Nada, and many other players who were good at SC1 who have switched over.

He's not in the ro16 in the GSL, having just 2:0ed one of the, if not the best player in the world
no way
you're totally right
he's soooo mediocre to be in the top 16 in the world with a race people agree is weak
i got blisters on me fingers

A big upset yes, but it was quite a tough group, probably the toughest group this season.

lol at that artwork, july had a nazi symbol on his chest, wtf

Some people need to learn about world religions The swastika in Hinduism represents the 4 arms that keep the community alive, the male/female monks and the male/female supporters of them. It's not just a "Nazi symbol" It was depicting July Zerg as the Hindu god Vishnu

I dunno man...I think that symbol has been pretty effectively rebranded.

it has in the west, but if you go to india you see it everywhere in its original form.

and i think the nazi swastika has arms that go the opposite direction to the hindu one.

I feel disappointed with mvp, he could've started making the CC behind the supply depot, or just scout with an scv around his nat to see the timing of banes.
He knew that banes are coming(judging from the bunker he was making), I don't know why he didn't prepare better.

Also i'm not sure but did mvp scan at all?

Sadly that's just the mob mentality here and you will get shunned by the community if you think otherwise. July was popular and good in SC1, therefore people will blindly support anything he does in SC2. It's just how it is.

AOEII Is a very hard strategy game as well, heard the online 1v1's etc got very intense...

But SC:BW is still the standard to judge RTS masters from

Any BW pro gets colossal favoritism here, people should be used to that by now.
