I still don't think that July's been particularly strong even in today's games, so I don't know how to feel. He keeps getting my hopes up then disappointing me . I'm just wary of getting excited for him again . Exactly what i think. I cheer for zergs but i dont think July was supposed to advance here. MvP is the better player overall. Huge upset. I dont think July has any chance winning this GSL. Just take a look at MC vs July...

The new big maps are saving SC2. Still, it was depressing watching Zenio, the better player, go down to Byun/Clide. I'm a toss player but it's clear Zerg needs some kind of buff if they don't raise the supply cap. His units were just not cost effective enough to break Terran. Perhaps if they made Ultralisks a truly scary unit, that would do it. Likewise, the Mule is going to become more and more OP in late game as players learn to abuse it. Terran can concievably have 50 more supply than their opponents. Now that the maps are bigger, the problem is going to be exacerbated.

I believe that July had prepared for MvP's style of play and figured destroying him early on was the best move to make. As for dealing with MC, whatever he did wasn't enough. Although MC is such an interesting player (to me at least) he can bust you with a 6 gate one game and then take 4 bases the next and play a macro game. It's hard to prepare against that. I will catch heat for saying this, but I personally believe MC to be a superior player to MVP because of his adaptability. Although those who saw Jinro vs MC round 2 could just as easily contradict me on that count. So it's up in the air I suppose.

I don't know where anyone gets off saying "This is what should've happened." Guess what?" Theory doesn't matter... Idk, thgame could have gone way different if Zenio knew what harass means...
