IMMVP VS HuK in the up & down matches would be pretty awesome to watch lol

The world is at a standstill in the pinnacles of gosu players D:

Could someone please explain this to me. Didn't July just do something that equalizes to 2rax all-ining like Rain in the 3rd season of GSL? Why are people applauding him? Is there some double stranded i'm missing? Are Terran players 2nd class citizens? I don't understand

G1: A v B G2: C v D G3: winner g1 v loser g2 G4: winner g2 v loser g1 G5: if there is a 2-0 and an 0-2, both players who are at 1-1 will play for the second seed G6: if all players went 1-1, G5 and G6 will finish the group as a round robin In today's case: g1: MVP v Hyperdub g2: MC v July g3: MVP v Julyg4: MC v Hyperdub g5: July v MVP So, for Group A - MC takes top seed at 2-0 and July takes second seed at 2-1
Ok cool thanks, someone should put this in the op! =]

You're not impressed by 2-0ing MVP? July took advantage of a weakness in MVPs play and exploited it. It was his best chance at winning. I suppose you aren't impressed by anything other than 40 minutes of Zerg throwing armies at people.
I'm not impressed by people who refuse to take advantage of opportunities that are presented to them because of imaginary restrictions they place on themselves.

I can't believe how badly MVP played. I mean, you simply do not ever block against zerg with anything but barracks, factories and command centres. If you use anything else, you are basically asking for an early baneling zergling all in.
From when I saw the supply depot, it was obvious that MVP would lose. He didn't have a spotter when lifting to build add ons, but it's not as though it would have made any difference.

OMGGGGG July is back in the house... !!
What a metagaming master... He wins in SC2 just like he won in BW and gets the same hate in the LR threads as b4 too. Whataplayaaaa

so nobody replaced idra? so in group b there are 3 players, do the up down matches happen today and do the winners of both groups play each other today?

Get a fucking clue please.

In SC1? No. In SC2? Yeah.
People really need to stop using players' fame from SC1 as a basis for how good they are at SC2. Yeah July was an amazing zerg in SC1, but he's really not accomplished much of anything yet in SC2. Same with Boxer and Nada, and many other players who were good at SC1 who have switched over.

MVP lifted his barracks and at that moment a bunch of banelings rolled into his base. The Stars aligned in some godly fashion for July Zerg, not sure how well that would have gone if he ran up that ramp 15seconds sooner

Not even a interesting kill. I mean July has been sooo average in SC2... Well hope he makes something out of this, since else imo he kind of just killed this season(ok ok mvp killed it for loosing, however one spins it).

Yes, that just means low skill ceiling for SC2, because hundreds of people can get to about the same skill level. Then win or lose is just luck for them.
BW has way higher skill ceiling, even Flash or Jaedong has not grasp the game completely yet.

These busts are to apply pressure, not just to win straight up. The 2 rax were equally unimpressive. As you could see in the first game if the bust fails just go on to a longer game.
