If two players have two wins and two players have two losses, the top two will play each other to determine seeding in the ro16 and the bottom will play each other to determine seeding in the up and down matches.
That's a really lousy system. =/
July's win was over MVP, MVPs win was over Hyperdub. How can they be counted as 'equal' against eachother?

I'm all game for someone kicking MVP out of GSL, i like upsets. However I don't think July will do very well in the rest of the tournament, which makes it kind of sad he knocked out one of the best in all of GSL with just some weird timing on his attacks. Not to take away anything from July.

Im so sad that MVP lost.. but im so happy july won. I knew this was gonna happen as it has happened in every season. The previous champion goes out early.

I wanted july to win but felt bad seeing the camera on MVP, also the idra tribute was very well done but they made it really sad.

what i did was opening 2 tabs of set 2 in FF, 1 for SQ and 1 for HQ. that way it worked out fine

Why do people think Zenio vs Byun was such a good game? It was entertaining, I suppose, because it was a big macro game. But it was definitely not particularly high level. Neither player was macro'ing very well (Zenio had 5k+ minerals for most of the game) nor were they micro'ing well (Byun had a lot of crappy marine micro vs banelings and Zenio lost so many ultralisks just running them into walls of marines and tanks).
Plus, I watched the VODS and the messed up audio for this game made it sound like they were underwater.

Wow so disappointing that JulyZerg beat MVP. Both games goes for a bust. Sucks that if a terran did that he would get so much hate. MVP FIGHTING!!!

July is just sick, I really didn't expect him to 2-0 MVP after being humiliated by MC. I guess being a veteran brings you that kind of mental strenght.
That being said, wasn't MvP a little too comfortable with his build in his last game ? It seemed pretty obvious that July would try to end this quite early considering 1) his style of play 2) the fact that MvP is arguably the best player right now and 3) the fact that it was a tiebreaker.
MvP was on autopilot and July kinda outsmarted him. (At least that's my pisspoor platinum opinion on the matter :p)

Was so happy MvP lost gives the tournament some drama and excitment. I hope Jinro comes in second in his group and Nada second in his.
That would mean that Jinro avoids MC if he can beat 1st place group D (Top or HongUn seem likely). Good old Jinro is probably gonna go all out and wreck his group though .
