Terrible is a bit to strong worded for me, but it's certainly not tolarable. To be honest, I could understand her *almost* perfectly, that being said, the other 2 issues on my list, her lack of knowledge and her high pitched voice are killing me(the latter especially). I agree : there's only one negative choice for three positive ones, so even if people are 50-50, the negative one will get a lot more votes than any of the other ones. Quite biased imho
At the same time it will get extra tolerable votes from people who don't want to say it's terrible but would use a less harshly worked negative option.

Have you seen her resume? If a guy turned up at GOM with that resume, I'd think Gom will give him the job the same as they gave it to Kelly.
Her accent is unfortunate but honestly her resume is pretty awe-inspiring. Most of the casters that applied probably didn't come close to her in this regard. And the guys that do probably didn't applied due to RL and other engagement.

Honestly don't like the new caster...why they didn't pick Torch is beyond me. He obviously has the game knowledge to do it and has a fair personality, and from what I've seen is a pretty good caster.

as for her casting, remember how much we all HATED the camera man for gsl english?
he turned out ok
its her first day at the job, yea shes nervous, shes next to someone she doesnt know, imagine your first day of work
now imagine that on camera in front of a bunch of SC2 players, so i think shes doing ok

And you get people wanting to avoid a friendly bias so they simply err on the side of caution instead. It's a moot argument.
Whether or not she a girl, I'm happy to see different caster combinations, but I hope she improves since she seems nervous. It probably is a bit awkward to be a girl in what's a very predominantly male world. We might find something we like besides Tasteosis, but we will also appreciate Artosis and Tasteless together all the more for the games that "matter."

They seemed to do decently when it was heavy roach/ling and a couple of banes. But eventually he didnt have enough lings.

All in all, i don't find her that intoleratable. I mean sure I dont think her and tasteless are as good as tastosis. Of course her accent isnt helping either.
However, this is her first time here, i think people just need to give her more time to get used to things. And from her casting of the last game, you can feel she did her homework.
At least appreciate the work she put in it, and give her some time.

are you kidding, artosis kept screaming for choya in the fou match, even though he should've known he was banned, both tasteless and artosis have been pretty bad with keeping up with the things casted should keep up with in terms of players

Yea that's a good point, I should have thought out my post a little better. I guess what I meant is that I'm sure there would have been someone better suited create that kind of synergy. Then again it's just the first gsl cast for her, so she might get better.
