Was people upset when ZeNEXByun said in his winner interview that he picked liveforever so he had a secure win if he lost against Leenock?
Get over it, everone involved knows that liveforever is bad, really bad.

He just had his baneling nest a little late, a regular timing for terran builds. Liveforever, is master league level at best, probably wouldnt even be in the top 200, yet is considered code s, because he is terran. In the end, lots of Barracks + Stim + Combat Shield timing is super strong, you need to know it's coming, you need your banes earlier and that's what it comes down to. Otherwise, you're just not going to stop it. seriously... 10 lings vs 6 rax? liveforever "tricked" him with a canceled factory. this isn't imbalance, this is just funny. liveforever didn't have combat shields either I know he did in game 2, and I thought he did again in game 3 since he had two tech labs but I'm not 100 percent, either way, stim timing by itself is hard to stop unless you are prepared. ...and he couldn't because of perfect scout denial by liveforever
Yeah, LiveForever played that build pretty decently, I'm just saying Leenock isn't a crap player like a few people are suggesting.

Regardless of what happens, there is always something to complain about for some of you people, the rest of us who are trying to watch these games have to basically run away from these threads because people get too upset and become Comic Book Guy (see: Simpsons) where everything and everyone sucks and its horrible and "OMG its SOO BAD". Artosis got invested in the game, and showed his bias: guess what that happens to every commentator ever. Ever watch a sporting event? Big deal, if you dont like him talking, there is the mute button, click it, and put some music on. The guy is mad because he's also a 1-dimensional all-in every game player just like LiveForever, so he empathizes with him and feels that Artosis is insulting him indirectly.

WELCOME TO SPORTS or even ANYTHING COMPETITIVE.
The underdog CAN win. Just because you're the favorite 'or deserve to win' doesn't mean you will.
If there was some kind of thing that LiveForever abused, then perhaps there would be an argument.
But he didn't, it was a simple timing attack, like any other that happens on ladder or in practice. He didn't make his baneling nest. That's the end of story.
What's the expression? fall on deaf ears? It's obvious Leenock lost because of himself and people are just trying to find the blame elsewhere.

how is what liveforever did in the third game an allin
whats the difference between that, and a 2base 4-6gate push by ogs.mc? it's meant to do a ton of damage and if the opponent somehow survives it, the worst that should happen is that the game is equalized by the devastating push.
seemed like a timing push to me

But Leenock made big mistakes. If he hold that push he would have been ahead. A lot.

lol legalmind. If Top doesn't make it I'm going to eat a hat, seriously!

Well im surprised that people are complaining about professionalism. Dont get me wrong im pro for them becoming more professional but i remember last season, tasteless actually started eating a banana on camera and just nodding to artosis while he was talking. I actually thought that was a low point for him but many fans here seem to be okay with it. So I assumed that it was just the SC scene, they were just okay with stuff like that. I guess I generalized.
I think artosis could tone is down but there was nothing wrong with what he was saying. I prefer emotion in announcers rather than not and artosis was simply displaying some emotion.

That said, I don't think LiveForever could have pulled the upset if he played Protoss or Zerg. Those races just don't have the same alpha strike and all-in power (except maybe 4Gate). In other words: unlike Protoss and Zerg, Terran is always dangerous, even in the hands of a lesser player. We've seen lots of "bad" Terrans advance far in the leagues, much more than Zergs or Protosses. Not that I disagree, of course (being Terran myself), but the way Protoss is almost ignored when they have it even easier (when it comes to some lower level, mindless rushes) does annoy me. Against zerg, they have far more viable and dangerous cheeses - cannon abuse, blink Stalkers, 4gate, Stargate play, etc.
Top this off with a scarier end game against zerg, Leenock could've easily gone down to a lesser skilled toss the way he played.
We see more lesser-skilled Terran only because PvT is on Terran's side (for non-scouted early all-ins)

And a game goes by with people still talking about the commentary on the last game. It's over, move on.

Maybe the 2 terrans aren't code S material but leenock losing to both of them and so shamefully botching games 2 and 3 against LiveForever ... not deserving of code S, more practice should get him there at some point, he's certainly showed he had some talent in a few good games so far.
