I dont know if it's true or how he worded it.. My question was that if GOM could think that this was a bad interview to upload as it sort of attacks their setup quite abit if it is true.. It is strange that the MKP interview has been uploaded and the Jinro one hasnt, since Jinros game was played first Oh, and not because I think that Jinro hearing the commentators in this particular instance had any big impact - If he had known what was up, he probably would have completed the walloff I think. But more in general that players can actually hear the commentators

I'd argue that F91 was the best foreigner before the release of SC2, considering he destroyed JF, Idra, and Nony in liquibition and ended up being undefeated by the end of BW Liquibition's run. The only reason F91 wasn't in TSL2 was abuse on the qualification ladder, which wasn't really an indicator of skill per se.

Nony is/was damn good and very well could have had the skills to be recognized universally as the best, but winning a single tournament (yes, even TSL2) doesn't suddenly make you the best.

At last a terran champion, but it sucks a lil' bit cause it will probably be a TvT finals. I find high level TvT's enjoyable to watch as of late, Might be because I understand the MU more now days.

Either way, in both terms of pre-beta and pre-release, IdrA was nowhere near the best foreigner.

TvT is by far the most consistently entertaining matchup to watch in SC2 in my humble little opinion. The more TvT the better: little chance of map imbalance (still some on LT and Scrap Station due to positioning things) and by far the best of the mirrors.

They do have to change these maps, mostly just because I'm sick of that being the focus after every single game. It doesn't matter who played good, or who played bad anymore. It is always just somehow coming back to the maps. It is just making it uninteresting and increasingly frustrating. Nobody ever appreciates any skill because somehow it always just comes back to the maps. It is like at the end of a sporting event where a ref makes a really bad call, and nobody talks about how good the game was or who played well, they just talk about that one bad call some ref made. Same thing with the maps, it is detracting from the overall appreciation for the game. The players should have to play each other, it shouldn't be zerg vs. the Map + opponent.

There's no other way to put it. You wont find anybody except IdrA haters who would suggest IdrA wasn't either at or right below the very top of foreigners at SC:BW.
