Maybe he underestimated Jinro. ¨ I think he knew about the mech strat, jinro have been useing it in his last tournament games against protoss, used it against axeslav, lotzeprime and mana in the Machinima Realm.

He is pretty good. And yeah, Jinro 2:0ing MC, I can't believe it. He did the impossible i don't know how ELO is based, but bleach and moon being that high HAS to be a mistake, that is impossible. code A should not get as many pts as code S, i bet that's the problem. because that is not right in the slightest.
Edit: If Lyn and Moon gets to code S I am sure they wont get out ....

I don't have to prove you anything. It is obvious that rules of that exist on "mature" forums just to respect people thoughts and opinions. Why is it so hard to understand? For somebody cursing is inappropriate, for someone else its insulting religion (especially if this person believes in such). This is why regulations exist and why moderatos exist. Can anyone link me a TL regulations? I've never seen a forum that has banned people for such images. There's huge difference between something being listed in the rules, and the rules actually being enforced. So while you may be correct that there is often a rule handling such things, the actual enforcement of such rules is usually incredibly lax. Yeah, but why even state rules if you don't follow them. I'm pretty sure what you said is because a person which feels insulted hardly ever informs about that (don't wanna be an outsider). I'm pretty sure that if someone really feels wrong about certain picture/statement and pm forum administration about it, justifying why something feels wrong to them, staff will at least consider taking some actions. While I've only participated in a few dozen of the many many thousands (millions?) of forums that exist on the internet, I can tell you that of that few dozen forums, there is a 0% chance that the Jinro pic that implies he's Jesus would ever incite a ban. As well, I have a hard time imagining that anyone would find the picture offensive to begin with. One of the main christian tenets is to "live like Jesus", and Jinro's act of condolence would be a great example of that, giving great meaning to the picture to any christian who may stumble across it, rather than inciting offense. It is actually the crucifix that symbolizes Christs torments and death being compared to something like MC having his game lost that may concern people a lot more. I see this discussion going nowhere, so it will be wise to end it. Obviously, as I said, everything is a matter of point of view. You should realize that the crucifix isn't a symbol of torment and death, but rather a reminder of Christ's resurrection. Look around any church and you'll see countless crucifix', pictures of him nailed to the cross, and other such symbols. Christians flocked in DROVES to watch a movie where Jesus is beat up and tortured for an hour and a half on-screen. These images are not offensive to those of Christian faith because they believe that, despite all of the horrible treatment, that Jesus was resurrected and as such, the crucifix is now a symbol of that resurrection. I would suggest that before you decide what is and is not offensive to religious folk in the future, that you study up a little bit on what they actually believe. If crucifix is only the symbol of resurection then why the hell would he put it in that image? Seriously, I live in a very catolic country (I would say that Canada is not really catholic) and all priest here say that crucifix is not only a symbol of ressurection, but also torments that Christ had to overcome to redeem people. I would suggest you to learn more about Christianity before you post. On January 15 2011 21:34 Zihua wrote:You certainly have shown your intelligence and maturity with this post. You're even less smart than I thought Ummm, I'm too lazy to read this exchange, but what are you guys jabbering about in a Jinro/GSL thread? Ya it's got a bit derailed. He was QQing about a picture posted on an earlier page that depicted Jinro as Jesus consoling MC, and said that on most other forums it would be grounds for a banhammer. I'm simply in the process of explaining to him why he's wrong, and it's not quite getting through to him because it's hard to admit when you're wrong on a public forum without losing face. I assume he'll try to rebut my point one last time, but I think I've said enough and made my point, and as such, we can all go back to spamming "JINROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" for the rest of the night. Take it easy kids :p Yet again proving that you can't read. I've said that I like the picture. Then I said it may be insulting for some people just like troll pictures are insulting for others. I'm pretty sure that I've made my point clear too. You claim that someone has to lose discussion and someone has to win it - wrong. If it is for winning for you, well, it's pathetic. I was just defending people rights to have believes.
The diffrence between the jesus pick and the troll pick is the intent; the troll picks where made to gloat on MC; malicious intent; while the jesus pick where focusing on the gracious act of all jesus-like comforting the opponent you just beat.
That is why the Troll-pics should be deleted and the jesus-picture shouldnt.
And ofcourse the quality of the jesus-pic really plays a part, both the artistic aspect and the funny biblic paraphrase.
And finaly, most christians wouldnt find it insulting to associate a gracious, friendly act with jesus, and if they would, they are religious nuts that shouldnt be catered to anyway. And I dont know in what sect the cross symbolizes death and torture, but they sure will be busy hating on all ppl wearing crucifixes around their necks "celebrating that jesus was tortured and killed" and wont probably have time to read this thread and be insulted by it.

JINROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
First off (and this argument is sufficient for all intents and purposes) this is a teamliquid website featuring a thread about their player winning. So celebrating this occurence is much more appropriate than whining about your religious sensibilities being offended.
Second, a safe bet is that the vast majority of people reading these forums don't care much for jesus christ as a religious figure and as such didn't get offended by a (really funny) jesus pic that got posted. On contrary, the troll face that got suggested be put on Jinro is a plainly retarded idea because it just doesn't fit the situation in any way. Jinro is a genuinely nice person whose intent was to show support to his defeated teammate.
Finally, mods forgive me, retarded people like you and the like-minded buddies of yours who have trolled this thread for pages should congregate in a place more suited for retards and not spoil the joyful occasion that were today's GSL games.

God did that seriously happen? Fuckin' LR threads.
Still...it's not as bad as the shocking amount of people saying MC threw the first game against Jinro. It's actually a bit fucking disgraceful. First of all it's obviously a pretty serious insult to both players, above that though there is no fucking way of that accusation ever being more than idle speculation; a good player making mistakes is not and will never be proof of game throwing.
So it's a serious, insulting accusation with literally no basis and yet some mother fuckers claim that it's 'definitely' true. Pisses me off. I probably should just let the mods get on with the bans and shut up about it.
Also I had to laugh a little bit when reading all the people saying Jinro outplayed MKP...apparently not, since he lost. That's kind of the definition of being outplayed - losing.
On a lighter note I'm so fucking happy for Jinro; beating the reigning champion TWICE who previously 4-0ed him is amazing.
Is it Jinro vs Idra next round? Also what format is the Ro8 played in, Bo3/Bo5 etc?

Yeah, Jinro vs Idra. Artosis said Bo5, the gsl site says Bo3, while the forum at playxp apparently seem to believe it's Bo5 according to someone earlier in the thread. Your guess is as good as mine.

As a side note, I just want to express my happiness about finally been able to pay for the season ticket after failing for about 2 weeks. Have some catching up to do.
