Very true. Cheesing is too risky when all it takes is 2 losses to knock you out of the group stages.

Despite some bad observing, Tasteless kept me going.
That's one of the really positive effects of having an actual observer, Tasteless' actual commentary has really picked up.

I love games on Shakuras so much <3

It can't be THAT fucking hard to get an observer that speaks english fluently.
After all, it's the most COMMON INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE IN THE HISTORY OF MAN KIND.

5 OCs is 2000 minerals.. if you can do that at once and not die then go for it.. but at the end of the day unless you can deduce the exact situation of the game (at a pro level) .. you will need to be significantly ahead for this to work
edit: plus 5 OCs .. which is another 750 minerals

Oh, that's a smart idea:
If both participants thumb down the same map, it gets reinstated into the pool.
Is that a good idea?

The observer does speak english.
And so does Jay.

Wait, wasn't Shakuras off the map pool because of that glitch? Where have I been? Was it fixed?

Speaking English, and speaking it fluently so that he understands what TOP RIGHT is.... are two different things.

It's off the ladder map pool, but GSL can do whatever they want. They could make everyone play Nexus Wars if they want.

Haha, SCV punches the probe in the mouth.

When he can actually focus on casting and casting only he's a beast.

I guess it's not a problem in a tournament, you can just ask players not to abuse the glitch threatening DQ.

This was just BoxeR getting very far ahead and figuring out how to finish hyperdub off since he let him get to 200/200. If you want to see great games, check out Naama vs Mana Dreamhack finals on xel naga caverns or Clide vs Leenock in GSL3 on shakuras. You are right but that is not the only definition of a great game.. BoxeR going a completely ballsy move in a MU that has long been thought of as a Tank/Viking stalement is worthy of a notable mention.. it was great to see this completely out there build work out; yes he was already ahead but people have been ahead in many different games without responding the way boxer did.. it was a great game because of that.. There was nothing 'ballsy' about it. He knew how far ahead he was and had the extra minerals to drop the CCs. It's not like he revolutionised the matchup or anything. It's just a combination of getting far ahead and not being able to spend your minerals. It's also funny how you're talking like he broke out of the tank/viking trend. What did he win the game with? Vikings. What did he mass up in the early/mid game? Tanks. Please don't let your admiration for the guy blind you.

No one is actually going to be abuse that bug in a competitive televised game of SC2, no reason not to use a good map just for that tiny point.

Honestly, on the 5 CC thing, the obs made the right call, and tasteosis messed up by calling him out. There was a drop was going on, and the CCs would still be there (and beginning to transform) when the drop was over. It would have been much better for them to play-by-play the drop and segue into the CCs, and we would not have missed anything.
If artosis was obsing we would have missed a drop to watch scvs make buildings. how thrilling.

I personally haven't seen that in a high level 1v1 before.

I agree with this so much. I don't mind the new observer because Tasteless is doing so much better.
