On another note, the production value of this tournament was great. All those different virtual studios weren't really necessary, but I guess they were trying shit out. Props for the casters, that was a lot of casting within two days. That much effort for "only" a 2000$ tournament... makes me wonder if the big EG-announcement Incontrol is always talking about has something to do with this. Looks a little bit like a "testrun" to me. Speculating is fun | ||

Here's a thought: Why doesn't EG release the specs the backgound image should have, and then make a community contest out of it. Switch through all the entries in the next cup and have viewers vote on the best one, and send a EG signed giant mousepad to the winner. Or something like that. There are not doubt lots of 3D artists out there who would love to show off their skills and add a won contest to their resume. Win-win scenario. | ||
