[GSL] S3 Ro32 Day 2

19:10: Here we go, game one is starting. NewDawn spawns at 1, Bitbybit at 7

19:12: NewDawn goes for 10 Hatch 10 Pool(wtf), Bitbybit opens 2 Rax. Bitbybit builds Bunkers at NewDawn's ramp. Both Bunkers complete but are taken down by Drones and Zerglings.

19:14: HUGE SCV + Marine all-in, NewDawn tries to defend but Bitbybit overwhelms his limited forces, takes out the building spine crawlers. Slowlings can't do anything, NewDawn ggs.

19:17: Game two starts on Shakuras. NewDawn at 1 o'clock, Bitbybit at 10 o'clock. NewDawn opens Hatch first, Bitbybit going for a fast Factory.

19:20: Bitbybit going two port Banshees, NewDawn scouts it with ovie

19:22: Banshees get a few kills but are taken out by Queens. Mutas coming out, Bitbybit has Vikings and now upgrading Stim

19:25: Terran makes a huge all-in push with 20 SCVs, MM and some Vikings. Zerg does not pull Drones, engages with Roach/Muta. Zerg's army dies, all Drones die, but he manages to clean it up with reinforcements. Worker count 15-5 in favour of Terran.

19:28: Terran comes back for second push with 15 SCVs, MM and a Banshee. Zerg has nothing left to hold it off and taps out. 2-0 Bitbybit

19:29: Thread explodes with racial imbalance comments...

19:41: Game 1 starts, Fruit at 1 o'clock, sC at 7 o'clock. Fruit opens Hatch first, sC with 2 Rax.

19:44: sC tries to Bunker Fruit's ramp, but he already has Drones outside and pulls them to fight alongside Lings. Bunkers don't get up, sC's attack fails with minimal damage.

19:46: sC pulls back, expands and adds 2 more rax. No gas yet. Now goes for big Marine attack with about 4-5 SCVs, Ling speed upgrades just in time but Fruit doesn't have enough to hold it off. All Drones at natural die along with 3 Queens, but Fruit pulls all Drones from his main and somehow holds with Ling reinforcements.

19:49: Fruit tries a small counter-attack with Banelings, but sC has Bunkers up and it fails. sC now adding Marauders, he's ahead by about 10 food.

19:51: Fruit takes a fast 3rd at the gold and a 4th. sC moves in and snipes the 4th expo, but Fruit with a brilliant Baneling flank traps his army and kills everything with Banelings and speedlings. sC going for a drop.

19:54: Lots of action. sC moves in to snipe Hatchery at the gold (Fruit's third) while dropping the natural. Fruit loses his 3rd and takes some Drone losses at his natural. Fruit cleans up the force at his 3rd but takes heavy losses. sC harrassing with a lot of drops, and meanwhile sieges up two tanks at Fruit's 3rd and takes it out again. sC way ahead on food, Fruit down to two bases

19:57: Fruit goes for Mutas and tries to harrass, sC with MM/Tank has food advantage of about 160-100. Fruit tries to stall for more time with a Ling runby into sC's main but doesn't do any economic damage.

20:00: Fruit tries to rebuild his third at 10 o'clock, but sC moves in and takes it out. His huge army moves into the natural, Fruit uses his remaining Ling/Bling force to take out sC's 3rd at the gold, but he has nothing left and taps out.

20:02: Game 2 starting, Fruit at 7 o'clock, sC at 1 o'clock. Pool first vs 2 rax.

20:05: Fruit expands but at 9 o'clock rather than his natural. sC also expands and sets up a wall with rax/bunker at the choke to his natural. Fruit takes a fast third at 11 o'clock gold. sC scouts both the gold expo and the expo at 9.

20:10: Fruit morphs in a lot of banelings but doesn't knwo what to do with them. sC pushes out to the middle of map with tanks/bunkers to try and secure the position. Fruit makes Mutas and harrasses.

20:11: sC moves his small Marine force out towards the 11 o'clock expo but overextends and loses everything to banelings. Mutas (8 or 9) come in and clean up some now unprotected tanks. sC has no Stim, no Marines left and no Turrets to defend, he GGs. It's now 1-1.

20:13: Game 3 starts, sC at 1 o'clock, Fruit at 7 o'clock. Hatch first vs 2 Rax again, but Fruit makes a lot of Lings this time.

20:16: Marines pressuring, but get surrounded by Lings and a few Drones. Marines take out a lot of Lings but all die eventually. sC making CC in his base and adding 2 more rax.

20:19: Fruit takes a fast third at the gold. sC making MM and takes his protected natural. sC moves out, Fruit morphing lots of Banelings. sC moves in from the side but then pulls back to avoid the flank. Forces engage in the middle of the map, Blings do a lot of damage and all of sC's forces are destroyed.

20:23: sC now going all-in, brings MM and about 20 SCVs to attack down the middle. Burrowed Banelings outside his main do some damage. Fruit morphs in Blings and has more than enough to hold it off. sC GGs, Fruit wins 2-1.

20:37: Game 1 starting, Ret at 8 o'clock, TheBest at 2 o'clock. Ret Hatch first, TheBest 1 rax FE.

20:41: Terran adds three Factories, it's going to be hellions. Getting blue-flame upgrade. Ret droning like a boss and teching to Lair. Ret sacs an ovie and sees the Factories, also takes a third at 10 o'clock

20:43: 5 Hellions come in, Ret without many units to defend. Does a beautiful Drone split, but still loses quite a lot of workers. Hellions eventually cleaned up, 4 more come in but Ret now has Roaches to easily fend them off. Ret's third now running, also taking a 4th.

20:46: Ret in macro mode, food advantage 140-115. Lots of Roaches, Terran going mech with thors and tanks. TERRAN PUSHES OUT towards Ret's 4th with mech + about 10 SCVs. THIS IS IT.

20:49: OMG, Terran pushes into Ret's nat and sieges up. RET MAXED ON 14:30 WTF. Ret runs Roaches all the way around the centre to flank from behind, but his forces are out of position and he loses all Roaches. BROODLORDS MORPHING IN THE MAIN combined with constant roach production somehow manages to kill off the Thor/tank/hellion mix. Ret loses his Greater Spire though

20:50: The thread explodes once again

20:51: Ret already back to 200 food, mostly Roach. Terran has 140. THE ENTIRE MAP IS PURPLE. Terran tries to take Gold but Ret harrasses with Broodlords, MEANWHILE A ROACH DROP IN THE MAIN DESTROYS PRODUCTION FACILITIES. Terran runs army back to base to defend, but more Roaches come in from the other side and destroy the gold. Terran caught outside his base, 200/200 ROACHES STORM IN FROM ALL SIDES AND RIP EVERYTHING APART, TheBest GGs.

20:54 REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET

20:56: Game 2 starting, Ret at 7 o'clock, TheBest at 1 o'clock. Ret Hatch first, gas steal. TheBest opens standard 1 rax, now pressuing with two marines and a few SCVs.

20:58: Ret fends off Marine pressure with Drones and a few lings, TheBest doing 1-1-1.

21:01: Terran pushes with two Medicavs, Marines and hellions. Ret has hardly anything except a Spine Crawler, but morphs in banelings which deal good damage to the Marines. Queens and Zergling reinforcements manage to repel the attack. Terran adds another port and makes banshees. Ret finally begins Lair upgrade pretty late.

21:03: Three Banshees come in, Ret only has two Queens. The Queens get taken out and Ret has no other anti-air. Ret GGs =/

21:04: Game 3 starts, Ret at 5 o'clock. TheBest at 11 o'clock. So nervous right now. Ret Hatch first, TheBest 1 rax opening, taking both gas quickly.

21:08: TheBest 1-1-1 with Marauders, Ret getting Roaches. Terran pushes with Marauder/hellion, Ret not many units. Terran charges in, kills some Roaches and KILLS TWO QUEENS. Ret Zerglings spawn and finally clean up, no Drones lost but two Queens. Since Ret has no Queens the Terran has a Viking racking up a lot of Overlord kills.

21:12: TERRAN NOW 3 RAX still on one base, PUSHING AGAIN. Terran pushes in with MM and a few Hellions, Ret has Baneling/Ling and two crawlers but it might not be enough. Terran drops Hellions at Ret's natural while pushing the main. RET LOSES A LOT, PULLS ALL DRONES. Ret desperately fighting against the incoming stream of units, but everything is getting picked off. RET PULLS EVERYTHING FOR ONE LAST EFFORT, 25-50 DOWN ON SUPPLY OMG NO

21:16: .....-_-

21:27: Game one starts, Hongun at 9 o'clock, JSL at 6 o'clock. Both players going for quick expos.

21:30: JSL adds two more rax, Hongun adds two more gates and a Robo. Now going for Collossi as Terran moves out with MM. Terran scans and doesn't attack, adding Medivacs and Vikings. Hongun ahead by about 20 food already.

21:35: Terran drop in the main destroys a couple of Pylons but that's all. Pulls back and drops again, this time takes out a few Probes. Meanwhile Hongun is pushing full force towards Terran's natural. Terran somehow has so few units, he manages to take out the Collossi with Vikings but just doesn't have enough stuff. Hongun rolls him. It's not close.

21:39 Game two starts. Hongun at 11 o'clock, JSL at 5 o'clock. Terran opens with two rax expo, Hongun with two gates and a Stargate. Reaper jumps in and sees the Stargate. Terran immediately puts down Engin Bay and a Turret.

21:43: Hongun adding Phoenix to his gateway unit composition, expands at his protected natural. Terran adding Ghosts.

21:46: HONGUN ADDS A FLEET BEACON, HE'S GONNA DO IT FOR REAL

21:47: AND THE TERRAN IS BUILDING A NUKE

21:48: Hongun gets FOUR Carriers out, Terran camped outside his base. Terran uses a nuke on the ramp to force a retreat, then runs his MM up the ramp and engages. Carriers come from behind, and despite a couple of well-placed EMPs, Hongun's macro is too much and he destroys everything. Once again, it's not close. Hongun counter-attacks and JSL taps out. 2-0 Hongun

How did this guy manage to beat Nada and Kyrix? =/
