They've been playing Halo for 7 years though. It'll go up as sponsors come.
If you count all three Halo games, then you should count both SC games, which brings us to about 10 years.
T_t.. i think he means playing halo for 7 years at mlg..

MLG didn't have SC1 on the circuit for 10 years though.
Those of you stating that it was "MLG's fault" (or whatever) need to understand: Blizzard removed LAN functionality on the premise that Battle.net would be so good, that we would never have a need to play the game in an offline setting. It is not the consumer's job to make concessions when it comes to products. It is the company's job to convince consumers that removing functionality will allow for an equal or superior product. That is clearly not the case.
It seemed like he was under performing for a long time, like a really strong amateur but not a pro and he even said he was considered on 'the B team' currently. Here he played creatively, and solidly the whole way through. He 2-0'd a guy that he'd never taken a game off before. Serious improvement.
Way to go Frozen'Arbiter. We're all really proud of you. You deserved the win.

To the people who didn't know jinro was a top calibre player just because he didn't qualify for gsl, there was an interview with TLO recently (its still on the front page) where he said that he was in the Liquid/oGs B team and Jinro was the only Liquid player in their house's A team. I didn't really know much about him either but after reading that I immediately gained respect for him as a darkhorse for MLG.

Fail by Jinro btw, he clearly needs to learn his geography. He showed how much of a wannabe-american is by saying "feels great beeing back in europe" when he was in america. lolol

Well, it wasnt Battlenet after all. It was MLG that was having problems.
Their stream was fine it wasn't MLG.
either way with LAN, the series wouldn't have been interrupted. so yes it was Blizzard's fault.
Didnt you hear what DjWheat said?! They said that it was a problem with the connection, not battlenet. Sorry, but this was MLGs problem thios time.
The stream worked and the computers worked. Whatever the issue between them and b.net, LAN would have been the answer. That is an undeniable fact.
The Halo tournamnet stopped at the same time as the finals in Sc2 crashed. Halo doesnt play on battlenet.
Why did it stop? I went to Modern Warfare 2 and it was going just fine, what happened to Halo? For that matter, how is Halo setup? LAN or is it similar to B.net? We watched streams of replays just fine, so having LAN would allow players to play, and we would have been watching that last game instead of two replays worth of games.

halo finished. and its lan. funny how the hardest game at the event to play doesnt even have lan
It's nice to see Frozen Arbiter do well. After hearing him mentioned so much, but never really seeing him play in an event (personally anyway), it's pretty cool to see him play so well and "dark horse it up."
Dark horse as much as any korean training terran could be.
