Why do you think these players abandon school, work and everything else to practice relentlessly? To give you a show that is fit for your liking? I'm sorry my dear Lord but that's not the way it works. How can you NOT be entertained by Foxers amazing control and excellent pushes? Damn right. I feel like anybody who complains about the style of a progamer should take a step back and consider how much these players have given up to become this good at the game. Anybody read this interview with Flash a little while ago? Interview This is the question that stuck with me the most. Q: Don’t you want to get a girlfriend? A: I don’t have the time to meet one. Back when I had one there was more time, but now I’m too busy. During the off-season I catch up with several friends, but I don’t think I can date anyone. The most important thing is that it’s not possible for me to retain my performance if I get a girlfriend. There will never be an opportunity like this for me ever again. This is the time to win. How many of us here are ready to give up that much? Get mad about bullshit like Savior; don't get mad about quick games. Respect the progamers who can find effective strategies and then dedicate themselves to practice until they can execute them flawlessly. That's what I'm here to see. Professional Starcraft isn't any no-rush 15 mins crap. This is serious.

No doubt he'll be a beast for a long time (he's 17 right now). Unless Flash switches over. Ironically Foxer was born in 1993, same year as Flash. Also they had totally opposite styles, Foxer was an aggressive microer whilst Flash is a turtling macro player.

And other foreigners other than those 3 aren't skilled enough to qualify for GSL to show their innovation.

Except for that year he 14CCed and died to everything. Though he did 3x14CC Jaedong this year for the mouse.

Especially when they were being stereotyped as macro robots? only if you blindly trust the stereotypes. Koreans simply do what is neccessary to play best. They innovate just as much as the foreigners, but they tend to recognize and embrace the moments when you need so stop 'innovating' and make shit happen by doing your macro properly. Foreigners, compared to Koreans, always sucked at macroing so were forced to 'innovate' coz they couldn't rely on the macro.

And though everyone says Foxer only does mass marines against any races, it's not going to be easy to come up with a strategy to counter against him. Cuz Foxer used mass marines as a 'counter' to a certain player. Foxer sniped both 1st and 2nd placed players of Season1. He knows what he is doing. And that makes it even harder for anyone to come up with vs Foxer strategy because Koreans know that mass marines isn't Foxer true strategy. Not as many participants as Koreans, but we can say that the tops of each region are over there can't we? Dario is definitely one of the best Terrans non-Koreans used to have, and IdrA had like 75% win ratio back in US server but he is around 55%(which is normal) and ranked around #100 on KR. Now IdrA plays against SeleCT and HuK like a toy as you have seen back in MLG&EG league. Let's see what happens in Season3, because Huk and select will be there. If they get to Ro32 I would say they did very, very well.

Regardless, next year there might be more foreigners as some of the league formats will be pretty foreigner friendly.
