LOL you're crazy. Storm does 80 damage (if you sit still inside it like a moron), EMP does 100 damage instantly.
Templar are cheaper, and can be summoned instantly anywhere with a Pylon or Warp Prism.
Warped in with storm ready as well. And Storm kills units, EMP doesn't. You cant do much with 10 ghosts, you can kill entire bio armies with 5 HT. GG?
If you're playing in gold league yes you can kill armies with storm, if you're pro like these guys, not so much. Regardless, Genius made numerous mistakes, and that caused his loss, not terran op'ness..ism?

Day9, DjWheat and Artosis for GSL 2011?
am i the only one that isn't all that into DjWheat?
He's definitely doesn't understand the game enough to cast GSL well, but neither does Tasteless
Day9 is a self-absorbed commentator who operates better alone in his echo chamber with his fans
IMO the best commentator team would be Artosis doing color and analysis paired with a very solid play by play guy, but unfortunately Jason Lee has a much better job at Arirang
Have to agree with you on that one. If however Artosis needs Tasteless to be there to be at 100%, then it might be detrimental to pair him up with someone else. Hopefully this isn't the case... or hopefully Tasteless picks up his game a bit.
sometimes i wonder what does tasteless do other than casting games in korea lol i thought he is supposed to improve his knowledge of the game during his other working hours?
Enjoy the matchs. If you only learned about this series that terran is OP, then you got a problem man.
I learned it long ago, I'm just tired of Terran players starting this asinine idea that they're now UP. They're all doing it, and they're all full of shit.
Just ignore them man then. I play terran, i would say i am UP, not my race
The truth, the game is pretty well balanced right now (before the terran nerf i could win some zergs i didnt think i deserved the win), but most part of the time, the better player (or the player luckier or with the best day) win. Not a reason to speak about balance.

Do you like when a protoss slips his canon in your backside, YES OR NO ?
DjWheat Artosis would be awesome
haha tx, each time I watch this I start to lauch like a hysteric mad man and just canno't stop :D

To everyone whining about EMP and making absurd assumptions about how much damage it does, you realize zealots, stalkers and sentries don't even have 100 shields to begin with right?
Stalkers have 80
Also, I play random. And I honestly dont remember that last time I lost to a protoss as terran. A good early timing push will destroy mid level diamond protoss and if not you can transition to 1 of about 4 different tech routes.
I am not even close to a pro, but if I can do it on my level, I am sure pros can do something just as well.
middle diamond makes u at best D in bw, wouldnt speak about balance if i was D iccup player.
Protoss needs something to do in early game other than turtle with sentries oh and hope to god that they don't get rolled over before they can throw done FF.

According to Blizzcon, P is OP over T - prepare for incoming nerf to Psi Storm (not joking btw)
According to the blizzcon pannel, Terran >> Protoss until the late game.
both game 2 and 3 were decided in the early game - when toss is at a disadvantage.
Game 4 was mid-late game, but no HTs were out yet - another 2-3 mins would have been late game.
I dont understand why blizz wants to maintain a T>>P early game and P>T late game stance.
Why dont they make it so that either race has a chance to take it early game or late game. Wouldnt that lead to more exciting games between back and forth advances, rather than terran racing to finish toss off as soon as possible?
Still moaning the lack of protoss in the GSL.
No, they said that's how the view the MU at the moment. They specifically said they don't want it to be like that.

Your point is terrible. Tester? Sangho? Former BW pros, losing to Terrans.
B-Teamer and Estro A-teamer (equivalent of a B-team on another team lol) never nearly as prominent as ITR, Boxer, or Nada
learn some history
at the release of sc2 sangho and tester were the two highest skilled players of that group. in the case of boxer and itr it isn't even close.
i dont see how career success does or should factor into the point you're trying to make.
Are people forgetting that Storm kills? Ill say it again... you wont get much out of 5 ghosts since you won't need 5 emps and you wont kill armies with ghosts. With more than 5 HTs, you will wreck maxed out bio armies, especially with the amulet. Stop whining, they are different casters, both completely balanced.

Yawn always some excuse. Tournament results proof conclusively that Terran is very strong, despite them whining up a storm.
Can't believe people who watchs some amazing series, from incredible players who are miles ahead them whining like little childs.
I enjoyed the first series greatly.

Well I think results (overall, from all tournaments) pretty clearly show there's something wrong with P, just as there was with Z. But yeah, it's fairly well balanced, 95% of the time it's just the better player winning.
I'm more just really annoyed at these Terrans actually having the gall to claim they're UP, especially against P despite them dominating Protoss in tournaments since, er, release at least.

I like Wheat but not so much as a caster, I mean, he's alright but if I would have to watch him 5 times a week for 2 or more hours, sorry but no thankyou.
I like artosis and tasteless, they don't over analyze , they don't overdo play-by-play. They are so down to earth, they are just really good. Some people don't like them but hey, it's their own opinion. But if they should get new casters on board, I would hope they don't go with 3. I think as far as english commentary goes, 2 people do just fine, I think when you get to 3 or more it just doesn't work, I don't quiet know how to explain it but it just doesn't work. For Koreans it's fun but at the same time we have no freaking idea what they are saying.

Doing very well in two single elimination tournaments doesn't make you the 'best SC2 player'; perfect example is Select, won both TL Opens and got to the finals of MLG DC but Idra totally stomped him and undoubtedly showed he was the stronger player at the time. Don't think Hopetorture deserved his win here and can't understand people praising his play - he didn't make any gross mistakes but in situations where neither player does, he loses. His BW progaming experience is what helps gets him through IMO, as a player he hasn't done anything outstanding recently.
I think results are the only thing, you play to win and that's what HopeTorture has done, even if he's gotten zero hype for it. Right now he has the runs on the board. I trust results (as imperfect as elimination tournaments are) more than a message board telling me that players are just oh so dreamy.
I don't think the IdrA vs Select thing is relevant because this isn't results in tournaments where you only have a few top players, this is the tournaments that all the top players want to be in and HopeTorture has gone top 4 both times.

boxer didn't even play at release. and if career success doesn't matter, let's look at the now. ITR has made consecutive top 4s in the GSL and BoxeR is in the Ro8 on his first attempt.

Have you ever played toss? You need to go pylon, gateway, twilight, archives, storm, amulet, templar to warp in with storm ready.
